Absolute disgrace – What a shame.Sony is associated with great products but their customer service is non-existent. You spend a longtime waiting to be transferred to their service department and then all you can hear are garbled voices and ear piercing sounds. I thought there was a problem with my phone but I am using it without any problem. Searching around the net,… Read more

I found many similar complaints. They are supposedly expert, so why can't they fix their own problems. At the end I decided to send a customer request from their own webpage including a picture of the item I want. Again, not a word from them. This really puts me off buying their products. All I wanted was finding the part number that needs replacing on my netbook. What are their technicians doing. Is there really a customer support department ? The Product Poor (non existent) customer service

Exceptionally poor after sales service – The backlight on the screen stopped working after 6 months - no probs, its under warranty so I take it into the shop where I bought it and they were good about it. BUT...the Sony service centre has now had my laptop for 4 weeks. I've called the shop 3 times to get an update - WHAT"S GOING ON? The last time I was told he'd email them and get… Read more

Great ultrabook for the price – Purchase to replace a 15.6" laptop. so far its performance is excellent, short waiting times for loading, boot times are ridiculously fast. SSD helps out a lot. approx. 6 hrs battery life on normal settings. for the asking price it offers more than its competitors like the Asus S400 (hybrid drive only). design is great, feels solid. I don't… Read more

know why others claim its noisy mine is whisper quiet even under load. screen brightness is ok, cant expect 1080p resolutions at this price range. Chiclet keyboard better than others, all aluminium case nice to touch.. i5, DDR3 1600, touchscreen, SSD, full sized VGA and ethernet ports, no need for adapers, Intel Pro Wireless card not cheaper realtek., fast boot and app loading touchpad could be better, chiclet board could have a bit more travel in keys but not a dealbreaker, maybe one more usb port

Unpleasant Experience!!! – I purchased a Sony Ultrabook T Series SVT13116FGS and after mere 6 weeks of limited use, the SSD failed and the Ultrabook was frozen. I realise that all products can have their faults but thought it could be repaired promptly. I was wrong. Seeking any assistance from Sony customer support was a disaster. Never returning phone calls and never… Read more

speaking to the same consultant twice. The Ultrabook was away for almost one month. After being confirmed lost on its return (pick-up and return were organised and paid by Sony), I was forced to contact my retailer and with their negotiation and influence with Sony I was only then refunded for my loss. Rapid Wake technology was great. Elegant style. SSD failed. Bad warranty service. Overpriced.
