Bought for Toyota hiace campervan. Cools so well have to pull the blanket over – We've had our campervan for four years and travel all over Australia. A fan just is enough on really hot humid nights. We always stay where there is 240volt power. We just bought the cool focus model for $629 on promotion from Mitre 10 retailer at Corinda in Brisbane, the only retailer in Queensland. Off we went to Noosa for a week in the last week of January. The unit sits behind our front seats facing directly at the middle of our made up bed about a metre away. The curtain that divides the cab sits between the two open flaps when the unit is running. The hot air is exhausted into the cab, We leave the front windows down about 50mm so the air can escape. We have weather shields covering the windows so no rain cant enter the cab. We mainly bought it for sleeping on hot nights. Once it's been on for a couple of hours we were pulling a blanket over us as it cooled the back of the van so we'll. It's whisper quiet on low but we ran it on high speed at the recommended 17 degrees and it's no noisier than our fan on high and I'm a light sleeper. It cut out almost all outside noise which is an issue at caravan parks at times. We have been reluctant to do allot of western travel in summer not having aircon so this has opened up More opportunity for us. This review was aimed at those of you that camp in tents and campervans as it's the first real solution to compact aircon that we have been able to find on the internet. Would I recommend this product, definitely, with a two year warranty a great Aussie invention.
