PERTH IS HOT TODAY!
Got a coolzy a few weeks ago cause we weren't gonna get caught out again like last year. Last night was 30c in our room, probably the first really hot night so far this year and it's only november...
Anyways, turned the little [Content Removed] on and hey presto, worked a charm. Sounds louder at night cause there's nothing else going on in the house but honestly, worth it when the alternative is laying their bakin and not sleepin. It kept us cool all night, no dramas. Think the mrs got up at about 2am to turn it off cause were was cool enough. Happy as larry tbh so recommend it to all and sundry.

This Is So perfect
I purchase this unit based on recommendation of a friend after I mentioned that my Ducted aircon is Brokedown and need to wait 7 weeks for parts (As heat wave coming). The price of Coolzy is slightly high compare to other Portable aircon, but the potential of saving money on the usage (Electricity usage) is very rewarding.
Anyway, the 1st day we bought this unit. My wife and I was thrilled that it work as I imagine and advertise ( which is enough cooling for our bed area only.
The next day in morning My wife and I discussed it of how good is

Seriously good little machine
We went up north from Sydney to Brisbane. We concerned about the current heatwave so we got this cause read it works reasonably well and doesn't drain battery too much. Was super impressed at the size and when we stopped to actually use it, was blown away. We're using it with a bed tent so it trapped the cool air and kept out mossies'. I don't think the tent was made for sleeping outside but we used it like that anyway. Would definitely recommend this product but make sure you're aware that it's low power. Given that, it does a good job at what

This product was a life saver
We've got a typical queenslader in Brisbane with poor insulation. It's done it's job for more than 100 years whereby the breeze curculates air between our floor boards and ultimately keeps us cool. Lately however, we've found that the heat has been overwhelming and the wind just isn't blowing. We bought the Coolzy-Pro on a whim and this is what we found:
- it's only good for 1 or 2 people
- it doesn't do everything but what it does, it does bloody well!
- we leave it on all night cause it doesn't use a lot of power. We know this because we're r

OMG its hot today!
I'm in Penrith and any knucklehead that says global warming isn't a thing has rocks in their head!
So I'm in a share house and we don't have A/C which is nuts cause the house is prolly only 5 years old. Anyway I took the plunge last week cause I cant do another summer like last years. Today was 36 degrees in October!!!!!! seriously! thank god I got a coolzy cause I would've died otherwise. So here's what ya need to know:
1. It ain't gonna cool the whole house. That's clear from the get go but they said it on the site so fine, I accept that.

Renting so got this. 34c and hot AF in Sydney!
Yo so we in Birchgrove in an appt and its hot as hell in here. Couldn't sleep duing last heatwave and pretty sure rockin up to work half asleep will get me fired. So bought this on a whim late at night and got it 24hrs later. Musta been hella lucky with the freight cause they said it was gonna be 3-4 days. Anyways, 34c today and turned it on and hell yeah! So important to know that it can't cool my living space but I live alone so all G. Had this on when watching telly then moved to the bedroom and easy done. Heard some water in the bucket thin

It is seriously just a little fridge with a fan (like the said) so dont get it to cool a bunch of people cause theyll each need their own, but for a single person, this things da biz ;)Purchased in at coolzy for $750.

Warm and stick last night - so glad we have this!
In Brissy summer is just waking up and our house, near the canals, is humid already! hot and stick and only 29c. Anyway, we dragged this out last night and used it for the first time this year. What a difference! I didn't bother with it much last year cause it was a mostly cool summer, we actually bought it for a our daughter lol. Anyway, it's not a fan but it's not really an A/c either. It's kinda in-between. You can hear the fridge part inside but it won't make the room chilly. Only thing is I wish it rotated. All G though cause it works :)

Helps my kiddies get a good night sleep
I don't normally write reviews but I thought I would because the service this company gave was exceptional. There was a mix-up with the address (I had a typo) and the parcel went were it shouldn't have. Working in CS I know that it's a PITA so I wasn't expecting much. Anyway, their CS team were lovely and attentive. No trouble at all and the organized the parcel to be redirected to me. We received it in the nick of time cause it was sticky and hot in Sydney. We're renting and our kids don't have a/c. We got one for each kids bedroom so they tur

Great Product Coolzy Pro
I purchased the Coolzy Pro to mostly help during power outages here in Arizona and occasionally when traveling.
I plugged the unit in to my EcoFlow 2000 watt battery generator and it ran perfectly and allowed for over 6 hour run time on the generator where other portable window vented air conditioners would only run for 2 hours.
It gives a steady stream of cool dry air and the exhaust is no problem. Due to the low humidity here I do not expect to have to need the dehumidifier function.
The other personal conditioners, that don't need venting, are basically swamp coolers using ice and water and add a lot of moisture to the air.
This unit is perfect and doesn't need venting and cools more than just people but also a local area.

The worst portable air conditioner
The Coolzy only works in very specific layouts and situations. The claim that you can use it with an open window is a lie. The warm air it generates comes back in and makes the room even warmer. And even on high (which is waytoo loud for sleeping), the stream of air is thin and almost useless. They also don’t give refunds. Do not buy this product unless you have a tiny room with a window and tube accessory.

Uses very little energy
My Coolzy runs off a 12v battery in my off-grid house. It lasts around 5 hrs on a hot day and works very well. I mainly use it to get a good night's sleep and when I have to work from home. It's saved me a fortune by not having to install a massive split system (and of course the power that system uses).

Small but Mighty
We bought this cause our landlord didn't want to install air-con and it was starting to get warm in Perth. We use it at night for sleeping and it works well. You just gotta make sure the room door is open but if you point it at the bed you'll be cool as. Wifey had to use a doona but I was alright. Noise wasn't too bad sort of like a fan. We had to put it on a box to reach us but if you can handle that then you're sweet. Be interesting to see the power bill at the end of summer but coolzy reckon it doesn't use much power so I think it'll be alright.

Does what it says, if you read what it does
Definetly different from any other portable air conditioners, it took me awhile to understand how it works even I have HVAC background. You need to be creative to manage the hot air coming from the back of the unit, yes, it needs some DIY effort, but at least you've got the freedom. I must recommond their tent product, makes my summer freezing all night every night. Weirdly enough I found out this product from a friend who use it to cool his pet birds.......I look at it this way: its a high efficiency, low power comsuption, well integrated refrigeration unit on wheels.

Worked on our Camping Trip
We took this ac on a camping trip to Townsville and used it in a roof top tent. It worked well and didn't drain the batteries however we're using a dual battery set-up for our vehicle. We used a pipe to vent the unit cause it didn't come with one but then again, they don't explicitly say it can be used for a rtt. Anyway, it was super quiet and did the job. Will be recommending to my mates.

Questions & Answers
So reading these mixed reviews I'm confused
Are some people just turning them on in a room without ducting the heat outside causing rooms to heat up. or is the hot air coming from the cold outlet.
Without ducting the heat outside it would naturally heat the room wouldn't it
That's not a machine fault but operator fault
or am I missing something
looking at one for an off grid small cabin
Cheers
We suspect this might be what's going on. Never the less, we try our best to work with the customers to help them with their particular circumstances. For users in small rooms, we even designed two different Tails to add on to the machine to assist with ducting.
100% that's the issue. Folks aren't reading what the product can/can't do. You realize it's actually a good little unit when you do your research.
We suspect you're right Toby
How large an area does the coolzy pro cool?
Is the coolzy go better for a large area?
Do you need to use a hose to expel the hot air?
This product does not cool a space, regardless of room size. It is a spot cooler, it cools a small space right infront of the unit, you will have to stay still to get the cooling. sleeping, reading, playing mobile phones ect. Yes, I`d say you need the hose, they call it "Tail" accessory in their store. I personally won`t use it without their Igloo tent, I am frozen every morning during the entire summer by sleeping in the tent and running the Coolzy Pro.
Hi William,
Little Red has hit the nail on the head. A Coolzy only cools a small zone within a room. The good thing about this is that it works in any size room. We've purposely done this because a lot of energy is wasted by attempting to cool an entire room. Our goal was to product a low energy unit that would keep users comfortable without using a lot of electricity. Most of our customers would use our unit when sleeping, reading, watching cricket etc.
We've go a great page on ventilation for the energy that is removed from the cool air. You can read it here:https://www.coolzy.com/au/small-room-ventilation-portable-air-conditioner/
Hope that helps :)
Hi there,
I have a campervan and due to space restrictions I would need to transport this on it's side. Would it be ok to transport like this?
Thanks.
Dan.
Sorry no, attempting to start the unit when it has been on its side MAY result in damage to the compressor. It would need at least 12 hours in the upright position to allow the refrigerant to return to its rightful place.

The Coolzy Personal Air Conditioner is different from other portable ACs because of its innovative technology. Unlike other portable air conditioners, it is completely self-contained, and doesn’t need an exhaust hose, window kit or water to operate.
Features:
- Coolzy.com states that this portable AC can be used in a variety of rooms, including bedrooms, offices, sheds, tents and caravans.
- Three speeds allow you to choose the level of cooling you would prefer. It also includes the option to switch between a regular refrigerated AC or a fan.
- A low power draw of 300 watts of electricity makes this Coolzy AC energy efficient compared to other similarly sized portable air conditioners.
- This portable AC runs off the residential standard of 240V of power. However, it can also be used off grid (e.g. while camping), using batteries, solar panels, or a generator. The power supply needs to have a minimum voltage of 215 volts AC and a maximum supply of 250 Volts AC.
- A removable tray makes it easier to collect and remove condensation that collects while the air conditioner is running.
Points of praise:
- The Coolzy Personal Air Conditioner garnered praise from reviewers as a strong and highly effective portable AC that works, while still being economical with the power bills.
- Residents of home in hot and humid locations found that the weather was no match for the cooling power of their new Coolzy unit. Air coming out of the AC remaining cool and crisp, no matter the weather.
- This truly portable AC was used in a variety of settings by reviewers. The Coolzy portable AC was used with good results for renters, for reviewers trying to get to sleep on a hot summer’s night, for trips in the campervan, and for home offices.
The Coolzy-Pro has kept many a customer cool and comfortable this year, and has won a 2023 ProductReview.com.au Award in the Air Conditioners category as well. Customers loved it because they found the appliance easy to operate and clean.
