convenience no better than an old VLA battery. This is not stated anywhere obvious prior to purchase and the information is buried in the warranty fine print. The manufacturers technical department state the BMS circuitry may become detached with vibrations and cause short circuit and fire. Simply if the build quality is this bad it will definitely not perform effectively nor safely for the intended purpose upright or otherwise and potentially burn your Van/ Camper/ Car or all of them to the ground. Several other Lithium battery brand have no problem with alternative mounting. I'm fortunate the supplier took it back and refunded me. I've bought another brand Lithium battery that states and warrants, it can be mounted on its side.

when reconnected the dcdc won't charge at the correct levels anymore. Only 2 amps in bulk mode off the vehicle battery and won't charge off solar.
Issue was rectified on the first unit by a software update. Second unit is going in to be fixed next week.
These chargers are more trouble than they are worth. Do yourself a favour and just buy a red arc unit.
*Update*
The second unit had a sensor burn out and has been replaced by Enerdrive at their expense.
Time will tell if this unit will last.
**Update** 3.1.24
The original unit which was updated with new software is still working as intended 18 months later. I have the new unit still in a box which I have not used yet. It was purchased originally to use while the original unit got repaired.
So I can say my issue has been fixed by Endrive at a cost of $560 for another unit which I still have and $300 for a battery I did not need.
I purchase the original unit from battery world Browns Plains and they sold me the second battery and dcdc charger.
I don't think battery would understand the system as I didn't get any real service until I dealt with Endrive directly.
The product is working now and working well. It's such a shame it took up so much of my time and money to get here.

The 100 amp charger gives reasonably quick recharge of the 480ah batteries . At 10.3kg it is quite light for an Inverter Charger of this capacity (the Victron is over 20kg)
It is now installed and I am very pleased with the result. It works well and quite transparently. It can run the fridge, microwave and air conditioned simultaneously with no issues. The fans run even under minimal load but not loud enough to be noticeable in the living space.
My only complaint relates to the manual which does not fully explain all of the control screen features in a concise manner

My experience:
16.11.2023 Item arrived from Redfleet, and installed.
17.11.2023 Advised unbearable high pitched noise. Both sent to Redfleet, and Enerdrive by email. Called Enerdrive but customer support (on that day, pressed 2) did not answer call but accepting voice messages
Warranty support is appalling. Attempted many calls and left many voice messages, but all are unanswered. If you don’t believe, just try calling them today.
They are also involved in illegal consumer business activities with resellers for not replacing and refund by forced me to seek manufacturer solution which is against Australian Consumer Law.
The warranty support involved in open choices on tracking or non-tracking return for replacement item, and now although determined faulty by Enerdrive, my replacement item is still not delivered!
Enerdrive revealed only when item arrived at their location to be tested, will they send replacement item after I sent it back!
I will try get a Victron instead.
Will have to file a charge back eventually
