Handy shop vac for diy-ers! – Great little vacuum for those home DIY jobs, I've used it when sanding plaster and decking, using the mitre saw and the circular saw and lots of… Read more

other jobs like vacuuming our outdoor area etc. It's got plenty enough power considering it's battery powered and you can even use it to give the car a quick go over. PS. don't be silly - use a bag in it.

As I'm leaving Australia permanently soon, I decided to buy the Ozito 1250W 12L Stainless Wet And Dry Vacuum for last days of cleaning. I wanted… Read more

something for a short time that I can throw away or give to someone else. This is the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever had since I inherited my parent's 1960's Hoover UFO vacuum cleaner (which still works but with duct tape holding it together). Suction is so bad on the Ozito that I have to place the nozzle on top of the object for it to be sucked up. It's so loud, ear protection is mandatory. The nozzle and vacuum connections do not have swivel joints so that you can't just vacuum at an angle or move around unless you twist and wind with the hose, because otherwise, the vacuum tips over. The wheels and center of gravity is so bad that if I pull the vacuum onto my thin carpet, the whole thing tips over. This is because the hose is connected at the top of the vacuum and not at the bottom. Once tipped over, the thing wails and loses suction. The power cord is only 1.5m long. I really don't get how this thing got through design and why Bunnings would even sell this.

Average At Best Suction – I bought this vacuum from bunnings for my daughter to use in her car. Disappointed with the low level of suction. I haven't had one of these… Read more

before, but i was expecting far better with a freshly charged battery.

EDIT: I took it back to Bunnings and bought the more expensive 2 speed Ozito PXHVS-218 instead. This one has better suction and I've kept it.

bottle supplied with a Windex window cleaner bottle which was more practical There are a few fiddly areas I had to do separately eg handle area and base of glass sliding doors But otherwise a good investment given it has a 5 year warranty. I had looked at other brands but decided given I had used other Ozito products and was impressed so far as value for money. My only complaint is I wish I had discovered Window Vacuums sooner : )
