veneer is just paper glued on to the chipboard, which for us started to peel off within a few weeks (they did replace it, to be fair). Overall, it looks really nice but feels incredibly cheap, and I have no doubt that it won't last very long unfortunately.

As a result of replacing our very old ensemble base with the Denmark from Snooze it has breathed new life into our mattress by providing the support it was lacking!
