are as clean as when they're professionally done. I just use a nice smelling dishwashing liquid instead of any kind of special carpet cleaner and they come up beautifully. It's cheaper and smells way better. The initial outlay of $149 is well worth it compared to hundreds each year for professional cleaning. Family members have borrowed it many times so it's had a lot of use and still going strong. You have to empty the dirty tank and refill the fresh one a few times while using but it's pretty quick and easy. Very good for the price and as you can see from the photo, it REALLY sucks the dirt out.

Works well. Trying to get replacement/parts in Australia - hopeless. VAX Support say it isn't stocked in Australia but how did I manage to buy the machine? Should have gone with a Bissell. Show details
