there is still a whole lot goop and crapola stuck between the (front loader) gasket seal and the drum housing. Well, after this was done, TWICE!!!, I had to run my little finger (because the gap is so narrow) to run around the recess in the gasket to get the big stuff (some of it was 15mm clumps) out. It was still so bad it still has to be done again. Except this time I'll use Bicarb soda, and the double strength White Vinegar from Coles. A kilo of Bicarb for $3.50 or so, and two litres of vinegar for $2.20.
Quite apparently the precious luvs at Sard use new machines. And there chemistry understanding, and washing machine knowledge is simply paltry. If I was there boss, and I went through this crapola over the weekend, they be fired on Monday. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 6/12/22 - Did a cup of bicarb soda, and a cup of vinegar, and it worked like a charm.
