I recently purchased the Mitchum Clinical Gel on a whim, after staring at the many rows of antiperspirant deodorants in my Chemist Warehouse for well… Read more

over 10 minutes. It was on sale for $8 & the mechanism fascinated me enough to try it out. Putting on gel in my underarms felt unusual at first, but I got over that when I noticed that this product worked effectively in blocking both odur & sweat for an entire day! A perimenopausal woman's best friend! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because it does cause some mild irritation after underarm shaving for around 48 hours. Other than that, an excellent product!

I am extremely disappointed with both this product and the customer service I received from Revlon afterwards. After using Mitchum Natural Power… Read more

deodorant, I experienced a painful reaction under my arms that has now lasted for over 5 to 6 weeks. My skin developed a burning sensation, severe itchiness, irritation and darkened marks that I am now worried may be permanent. Even now, I am still dealing with the effects.

At times, the burning and itchiness have been extremely uncomfortable, and I had to stop using deodorant altogether for a period of time, which was very uncomfortable. I have also needed to speak with a pharmacist, visit a doctor twice and use a couple of creams to help manage the pain, burning and irritation.

What concerns me most is that I am clearly not alone. After researching, I found multiple reviews from other women describing very similar experiences with this product, including burning, irritation, scarring and darkened skin under their arms.

I took the time to contact the company because I genuinely believe this product may be dangerous for some people and wanted my concerns taken seriously. Instead, I felt dismissed and as though my experience was being questioned, despite taking the time to explain everything and provide documentation.

I understand products can affect people differently, but a reaction lasting over 5 to 6 weeks, requiring medical advice and leaving ongoing darkened marks should be taken seriously. Based on both my experience with the product and the customer service afterwards, I would never recommend this product.

Terrible persistent synthetic fragrance. More like floral Lysol than cedarwood – I bought this because the natural brand I usually buy was out of stock. I can't stand it. The fragrance in it is very synthetic and very powerful and… Read more

I can still smell it on myself after two showers with vigorous scrubbing of my armpits with a strongly scented soap. After trying to wash it off, it smells less like the initial Lysol and fake potpourri and more like menthol cigarettes and cheap aftershave. I should have known this low grade company couldn't make a good product. I'd rather smell like Brut or Old Spice than this trash.

armpit started the same,i took a look at my armpits in the mirror and they were red raw,i got a warm flannel and tried washing it of,and did this quite a few times, but i think im going to have to pay special attention to these areas when im in the shower until my armpits go back to normal. Its winter here now so can probably go without a antiperspirant until my armpits are back to normal, this is terrible stuff and i bought it from Woolworth's i be sure to contact them and let them know, dont use this stuff its positively dangerouse
