it seems you recently changed your recipe and now she is scratching to the point of bleeding. Shame on you for changing something that some dogs relied on.

!!Caused ongoing diarrhoea and discomfort — disappointing for an adult dog!! I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog, let alone my 3-year-old Cocker… Read more
Spaniel. Supercoat with Chicken is marketed like it’s real food, but what’s inside the bag is barely a step above factory floor waste. Don’t be fooled by the “real chicken” claim — what they’re actually using is chicken by-products: a slurry of ground-up necks, feet, skin, bones, and sometimes worse. It’s the stuff left behind after the good meat goes to humans.
Australia’s pet food industry has no mandatory regulation, which means companies like Purina can legally mislead you with vague marketing buzzwords like “natural,” “complete,” and “with real meat.” They don’t have to tell you what parts of the chicken are used, where it comes from, or even how much is actually in the food. And they certainly don’t advertise the cheap fillers like corn, wheat, beet pulp, and soy, which make up the bulk of the kibble. It’s basically flavoured cardboard sprayed with "chicken digest" — a disgusting broth made by enzymatically breaking down dead animal parts into a sticky flavour coating.
My dog had explosive diarrhoea, bloating, and discomfort the entire time he was on this junk. The feeding amount they recommend (up to 340g a day for a medium dog) is outrageous. Why? Because the food is so nutritionally empty, your dog has to eat twice as much to get the same nutrients — and then craps out half of it undigested.
Since switching to a real food brand that uses actual meat (no corn, no garbage), my dog’s stomach issues vanished. His energy returned, his coat is glossy again, and his stools are small, solid, and healthy — the way it should be.
Supercoat is cheap for a reason — it’s built on the backs of deceptive marketing, trash ingredients, and zero accountability. It is the definition of a low-quality, industrial waste product dressed up to look nutritious.
If you care about your dog, don’t f all for it. Dig past the branding and read what’s really in the bag. It’s horrifying.

it. My dog developed many lumps, was operated on two fatty lumps 5 years ago, then more lumps developed. I started researching this very food and learned is not good. Also my dog was having diarrhea quite often for no apparent reason. Switched to Hill science diet and he was like new after few months. He is on Hills dry food for two years now and lumps disappeared, no more diarrhea. He is 15 yo and healthier and happier than two years ago. Do not buy this poison!

only 0.2% Omega 3 listed in the contents. I doubt very much this could be an effective dose. She does eat it, but for nearly double the price of her previous kibble, I'm not convinced its worth it.
