warranty, the look of the appliance and the ability to extend the cooking zone to accommodate my larger pots and pans. I have found with the few times that I have used it that having it on the highest setting is that it doesn't get to a rapid boil at all, it maybe gets to a med to high simmer at best, even then it takes a while to get to that. I previously had a Westinghouse ceramic top upright oven and it was brilliant, got to temperature very quickly where this 1 doesn't unfortunately. The other thing I have noticed is that how easily pots and pans slide around on the cooktop, no issues with sliding with my previous oven. I am still getting used to the touch panel and reminding myself to lock the panel before wiping it down after use as it turns on when touched. I do like that feature as I am not a big fan of pulling the control knobs off to clean as i have had them break when removing them. I purchased my product for $599 which is quite reasonable.

get hot enough. They are connected to a thermostat that decides when the hotplate is hot enough and switches off the power input until the thermostat thinks more heat input is needed. As I said, this is even on maximum power. Secondly, hotplates turn on sporadically. I place paper towels over hotplates not in use to prevent fat splatter, and I have had a number of them go up in smoke. Furthermore, technical support is non-existent.
