double direction oscillation is very effective at keeping the air in the room moving. We have often left it on overnight without a problem. It is simple to turn off the lit up control pad so that the room remains dark. It can even be controlled from your phone with the app. We tried other brands and found them impossibly noisy even when they were advertised as "quiet". This is not cheap but well worth the extra cost.

it ramping speed automatically while in “normal” mode causing the fan to be very noisy. The fan came with a 3 year warranty so I contacted Breville support and they were very helpful and a pleasure to speak to. They listened to my concerns about the product and it turned out that my product was faulty. Breville provided full replacement of the air circulator completely hassle free.

Takes about 2-3 hours to charge when flat. Comes with connection cord just need to attach to your phone charger. Reasonably quiet. Has 4 speed settings. Easy to fold down and store. Doesn't vibrate or move around on the bench top. Depends on speed you use and length of time running as to how often between charges. Handy little fan.
