Protect your family if you’ve white Kitchen Aid attachment. I was given a KitchenAid for Christmas and was really excited to use it. Unfortunately,… Read more

I've found that it doesn't seem to mix very well, with ingredients often sticking to the sides of the bowl instead of being properly incorporated.

While looking into whether this was a common issue, I came across information about the white-coated attachments. According to KitchenAid, chipped coated attachments should not be used, as they may pose a safety risk. If your attachment is chipped, it's important to stop using it and follow the guidance on KitchenAid's website.

I also saw reports that legal action has been taken in the United States regarding these coated attachments. If you own one, it's worth checking its condition and reviewing the manufacturer's safety advice. They’ll replace them if chipped not sure if you’ll get the same crap or the stainless steel version. Ask for stainless if you get the option. Shame American consumer are treated better when raising this issue, they’ll replace the white attachment with stainless steel. That’s not the case with Australia consumer.

The quality of the unit and beaters are no where as good as the bench top mixer. The handmixer's 5 speed is slow on #5, the beaters are flimsy and the unit feels low quality. It does look good and is definitely quiet. Show details

Disappointed – Not even a year old and the bowl is not locking properly thus coming off when mixing flour.Bought in March 24 and with a 5 year warranty, I thought… Read more

it will be replaced but JB HiFi took it to send it for assessment in NSW, I live in Qld.I showed the video plus anyone could have seen that the bowl does not lock in properly and spins around with slight twist.I had other Chinese cheap mixers before which died early due to the internal gear or Motor failure but none had the bowl issue even with plastic base. I bought this one due to good reviews plus it cost $599 on sale. Also when the bowl came off it kept spinning with the kneading hook banging around and my wife panicked ,but I quickly switched off the power, whew!Video attached. Apart from this issue its a powerful mixer and worked really well as the motor and transmission etc must be very good. I am just disappointed thats all plus the time it will take for the unit to be sent to NSW then assessed.Eta by JB Hi Fi staff was upto 6 weeks but I am thinking might be more due to the timing ie near Christmas.

DO NOT BUY KITCHENAID – I bought this junk 15 November 2023 and spent just shy of $1300 on my order. That same day they dropped the price on the mixer but they could not… Read more

refund the difference. The order came broken up over 4 weeks and several phone calls later. It was used twice before starting to squeak and then it blew up on 3 February 2024.

The returns process is a DISASTER and they do not give a crap about you. You are required to repackage and lug the mixer to the post office yourself and offer just a label via email to print.

Did you know KitchenAid had their best year in 2023 and made 21.3 BILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE. These big companies do not care about the customer and only care about their sales.

They are NOT THE SAME QUALITY and the returns process is AWFUL. I am 50 years old and will never buy a KitchenAid product again. Nothing but overpriced JUNK.
