useless. Only the inner elements heat up while the outer elements don't. You have to put your toast through twice to actually cook it and when it's finished - it only is browned on one side. And yes, I tried every single setting and had the same result. I had to return it back to the store I bought it and buy a new one from a different brand. Complete waste of $179.
