Expected it to last longer. bought in 2020 but only lightly used and the motor has failed. Kitchenaid phone support said the warranty is only 2… Read more

years and they are only expected to last a few years which isnt at all what you expect for a supposedly quality kitchenaid appliance. thought this would be a quality piece that would last more like 7-10 years. no repair option available. very disappointing quality. wont be purchasing a kitchenaid processor again as there is no value for money. overpriced and poor quality.

Don’t expect this to be like the food processor your parents were given as a wedding gift back in the day and are still using today. The bowl and lid… Read more

are made out of thin, cheap plastic parts. Broke after about 20 uses. Kitchen aid “support” refused to take responsibility for the quality issue and replacement lids are not available anywhere. So I’m left with a $400 paper weight and a 10% discount code for another $400 inferior product. Do not buy this. You will not get $400 value out of it.

Very disapointed,in a brand I thought was reliable. Update After contacting Kitchenaid re the malfunction the food processor was replaced at no cost to me. Delivery of product was exceptionally speedy. Great customer service.

Unreliable Product and Disappointing Customer Support – I recently encountered a significant issue with my cordless food chopper, and I feel compelled to share my experience to alert potential buyers.… Read more

After three years of use, the device suddenly ceased functioning, prompting me to reach out to the customer support team for assistance.

To my dismay, the customer support response left much to be desired. Instead of offering a solution or proposing a repair, they outright stated that the device was unfixable without even inspecting it. This lack of willingness to assess the product's condition was frustrating, especially given the premium price point of $239.

In response to my predicament, the customer support team's resolution was a meager 10% discount on a replacement unit. I find this offer inadequate, considering the expectation that a product in this price range should exhibit a longer lifespan. A cordless food chopper is a kitchen essential, and a three-year lifespan falls significantly short of industry standards.

The absence of an option for repair, coupled with the minimal discount on a new purchase, has left me disappointed and questioning the durability of this product. Investing in a kitchen appliance should come with the assurance of longevity, and a malfunction after only three years is both unexpected and frustrating.

Prospective buyers should approach this cordless food chopper with caution, considering the potential for premature malfunction and the seemingly unhelpful customer support. It is disheartening to invest in a product that falls short of expectations and receive a less-than-satisfactory response when seeking assistance. In light of my experience, I would hesitate to recommend this product to others.

Benchtop Dicer – Am a Kitchen Aid fan! Bought this little dicer a few weeks ago from the Good Guys for around $144.00. I'm really happy with it and use it at least… Read more

3 times a week. It's a sleek, clean looking dicer with a 1.2ltr capacity.

PROS - * very simple to use * very easy to clean * sits well on the bench; and * is easy to store.

CONS * size of diced food can be a little inconsistent with food laying at the bottom of the bowl being more finely diced than food laying more at the top - not a big deal really and easily remedied by stopping the machine and just giving the food a quick stir.

Used it today for the first time to grate and chop vegetables for soup. It was unable to process anything harder than white potato. Sweet potato and… Read more

carrot just got caught on the blades and didn't get cut. The grater function is ineffective due to only random pieces getting grated and the rest just spinning around on top of the grater. Also the machine was moving around the bench so I hold to hold it in place even though the bowl wasn't even half full. It's too lightweight. I'm taking it back for a refund as in my opinion it's a cheap piece of rubbish. My previous food processor was a Sunbeam and lasted for about 25 years, it was fabulous. Will be looking at Sunbeam options. Don't waste your time with Kitchenaid.
