Useless

published

Feeding tube broke twice since buying. I would not call it a food processor as it is only a slicer Which is does badly mushes most things except carrots. Have not used it since when it last broke. Very very disappointed. Back to cutting by hand, waste of $399. Have sent back one broken tube now replacement has chipped. Out of guarantee

Purchased in for $399.

Quality of product is terrible, some would even say a design fault

published

Purchased in November 2018, used 8 times for making cauliflower rice, 2 blades still unused, alloy housing with steel shaft, no visible outside damage but steel shaft has significant wear and tear so that turning became impossible.

Dismantled the item to establish the problem, contacted KA for parts but none available, service agent implied warranty exchange but that was rejected too.

Seems I supported the wrong company as I own 6 different attachments and no faults so far but when you did not break it and the item is still in as new condition then an exchange on compassionate grounds should be considered.

Why is a credit not given when unit design is faulty? Sitting in cupboard gathering dust. Tube has split twice as too flimsy for most vegetables except tomatoes which become mush. I am so happy with Kitchenaid other attachments I wish I HD bought kitchenaid easy slice which was my initial choice.
