not keep the agreement and just doubled my annual fee, despite being a customer for 24 years and a shareholder in NAB who operates Citibank card. After the royal commission into banking, you would think they would honor agreements with their customers. No. too greedy, in relentless pursuit of profits. I have been a long term shareholder in NAB. I will be bringing this up at the NAB AGM in December to highlight the lack of ethics of this subsidiary and lack of learnings from the Royal commission into the banking sector!!!

perspective, yes it works like any card with apps etc The usefulness of the Emirates association is greatly diminished.
-Fewer miles per dollar spent
-Reward flights and upgrades require more points
-Marahaba lounge no longer offered. It needed a clean and a spruce up anyway- but it was better than nothing.

-Lounge access at departure airport
-Free 'chauffeur' to taxi you within 40 kms
Given that Emirates remains a Skytrax 4 star airline, while Etihad and Qatar are both 5 star, the only good thing is the larger range of destinations associated with the airline.
