service during a refinance from one lender to another. Her expertise in her field is without reproach and is matched by her proactive manner and exceptional communication skills. From first contact with Averil to the final settlement and at every stage between, I felt confident that I was with an expert in home loans and refinancing. At every stage of my application, Averil communicated regularly and explained mortgage and finance jargon clearly and concisely. Furthermore, Averil narrowed down potential lenders, compared rates and offered her expertise, within the purview of her role, securing an exceptional offer from Bankwest before rates increased. Despite some bumps along the way with title details and my previous lender dragging their feet with settlement, Averil kept me informed and kept the door open for any queries or concerns I had - and there were a few. Another thing worth mentioning, is that Averil has a very easy, warm manner without skimping on details which are beyond her control. This was particularly important given the glitches we encountered. Despite these circumstances, the process was actually rather quick and between Averil, Joanna Mangila and Joanna’s manager, sufficient pressure applied, and continuous following up with my previous lender resulted in the final settlement and refinance. My application included releasing equity, and with Averil’s guidance, there were no disappointments. I have not used Aussie before, but should I be looking at refinancing again/looking at purchasing an investment property, I know exactly who I’ll be calling and who I will recommend without hesitation: Averil D’Cruz.

considered. I provided detailed explanations multiple times, yet I kept receiving generic or contradictory replies that did not address my questions.

The service also feels extremely impersonal - you never know which accountant is handling your file, and there is no continuity. Each response seems to come from a different person with a different interpretation, which leads to inconsistent advice.

More concerning is that some of the advice provided was incorrect and not aligned with Australian Taxation Office guidelines. When I challenged this, no proper explanation or reference was provided. There were also unexplained adjustments made to my figures, e.g. reduction in kilometres and calculation discrepancies, and again, no clear justification was given despite multiple requests.

I had to cancel the service with them because it was too frustrating. I would not recommend this service if you expect accurate, personalised, and accountable tax advice.

Super easy to navigate, helpful guidance and someone to support at every step. Have been with H&R for going in 4 years and it has taken all the stress out of tax time!

deposits (why a guide for EC users was not provided I don't know) but only two payments made it into the Swyftx account. It took days of back and forth between Swyftx and Kiwibank to find the missing payment, which sounds like it was in Swyftx's account the whole time, and had to be manually reconciled. Then my Auto invest purchases didn't fire.... I have no idea if the next set of deposits will work properly as these CS reps have been trained to give as little info as possible and just tell you to rtfm. Long story short, it looks like a capable platform let down by some soft processes and slow customer service. I hope it improves, and expect it'll probably work fine once the initial onboarding is done.

They could not tell me when i would receive the money. It took 4 phone calls and a complaint get get an email confirming they had finally cancelled the account and some help from my previous fund to withdraw the certificate. I still have not recieved the funds back, today is the 21st apr. They cant put it back.on your card. So waiting for it to come into my account. This mob is not computer savvy unless they are taking money. The gromt office cant comunicate with the operations staff. HCF the parent company process this task within a week.

was $5002:75 the next direct payment was due 16 th of March $113.. so when I went to pay and completely pay off the debt I was still owing Plenti $5002:75 they never deducted the last payment off from the capital and the loan was intrest free!!! So be aware the company is dishonest
