They are quick to respond, quick to action, gentle and empathetic, affordable, help come up with ideas to make the funeral memorable …, for example my father was in the Navy and Air Force and they suggested a Poppy service. I would never have done that, had they not gone to the trouble of organising it. To be honest I was a bit useless and they did it all with a few suggestions from me. They selected a wonderful minister upon requesting the kind of service I would like and gently guided me through other decisions. On the day they were so professional and warm, I felt they were my family too. They helped me with the funeral insurance and they were really affordable. If you are reading this review, it’s probably because you’ve lost someone and it’s a challenging painful time. They will surely help you. Losing my father was the saddest day of my life, and his funeral was the second hardest. However, the kindness and support I received from Guardian Funerals made the experience far more bearable and allowed me to focus on honouring my father's life rather than worrying about the many practical arrangements. From our very first meeting, Sharnayah was compassionate, professional, and incredibly thorough. She explained every step of the process in detail, answered all my questions patiently, and ensured there were no hidden costs or unexpected charges. Her honesty and transparency gave me confidence and peace of mind during an overwhelming time. What I will be forever grateful for was the extraordinary effort Sharnayah made to help me obtain my father's death certificate urgently. I was travelling overseas shortly after the funeral to take my father's ashes back with me, and I had very little time. Understanding how important this was, she went above and beyond to ensure I received the death certificate the day before I departed.
