I would highly recommend this company, their customer service is above and beyond. We lost mum on the 12th May, Lydia has been with us all the way since then. Thankyou once again for all your support and kindness. Sue and Karen
Outstanding – Ken is the absolute professional in his fiels.A kind, compassionate man who always has time to talk. And of course that gorgeous accent. Thank you Ken & his team you eased our journey.

such incredible care and support during such a difficult time. The kindness and compassion he showed truly meant the world to us. Anthony guided us every step of the way with patience and understanding, and by the end, he genuinely felt like family. We couldn't have asked for a more caring a thoughtful experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We dealt with Aaron via the coffs harbour crematorium and can honestly say the care, compassion, guidance that was provided was excellent. We would highly recommend this company and the cost value compared to others was a real bonus

a wonderful and compassionate lady and very easy to talk to and listen to your wishes. Her celebrant, Wendy, delivered a beautiful service that my mum would've been very pleased with. I thoroughly recommend K.M.Smith funerals.
Paul was absolutely wonderful - his thoughtfulness, listening and intuitiveness for our needs, attention to detail, coordination with others, timeliness and responsiveness were exemplary. Thank you.

many years experience. They are quick to respond, quick to action, gentle and empathetic, affordable, help come up with ideas to make the funeral memorable …, for example my father was in the Navy and Air Force and they suggested a Poppy service. I would never have done that, had they not gone to the trouble of organising it. To be honest I was a bit useless and they did it all with a few suggestions from me. They selected a wonderful minister upon requesting the kind of service I would like and gently guided me through other decisions. On the day they were so professional and warm, I felt they were my family too. They helped me with the funeral insurance and they were really affordable. If you are reading this review, it’s probably because you’ve lost someone and it’s a challenging painful time. They will surely help you. This team pulled me through and the services on both occasions were beautiful. Big thank you to the Hollands family and other staff. ❤️

After finding out a bit of information and what my options were. Karen advised me of a slightly cheaper option that could have lost her business. However, this earnt my respect.
I decided to trust Karen with exactly what I wanted for the wonderful lady who raised and loved so many children from all backgrounds after raising her own four.
Yesterday, the service we received showed that this is a company that goes above and beyond to ensure not only my Mum, but myself and everyone else that attended were important.
So much detail, respect, and care from an industry that nobody really ever wants to deal with in their lives.
Pardon the pun, but you nailed it.
Thank you so very much.

guidance and help! They were outstanding with the arrangements and the whole process has been as smooth as it could possibly be under the circumstances! Sounds wishy washy but abandoned our regular Family Funeral directors in the hope of giving back to an organisation that is there whenever we need them, they do this, not expecting thanks, but with the commitment and belief the action of assisting a fellow Human makes us all more human!

see they try to give everything a personal touch. The staff appeared to enjoy working there as well. I came across A Gentle Touch when I was trying to find a beautiful casket for Mum.❤ and I found it along with A Gentle Touch.
I had heard that two major brand funeral (White Lady and Simplicity Funerals) services were expensive and the quality was not good. One of my relatives said that Simplicity Funerals provided them with a very poor service. The Simplicity funeral hearse broke down outside the Church, and when they went to the graveside, the pallbearers had to carry the coffin about a 100 meters because the hearse for some reason was parked far from the gravesite. Simplicity Funerals was more expensive than AGT funerals. After hearing that both those services (White Lady and Simplicity) had the same umbrella business, I thought I would go a different way, and I'm so glad I did.
Mum's service was lovely from start to finish. I know she would have approved. It was easy communicating my requests for the kind of funeral service I wanted including a slideshow with videos and music. It was also livestreamed for those who could not attend. It was covid safe. Along with the service a tree was planted in Mum's name and a star was also named after her as part of the service which is amazing.
If any problems arose, it was dealt with competently and with a good spirit. They are diversity friendly. I would highly recommend them.❤

caring and really patient explaining the process and keeping us informed each step of the process. The cost was really excellent considering the time and effort and caring put in by staff. I would thoroughly recommend this truly caring business.

day hearses. Also not a good look when you receive your bill in your letterbox the very next day which was incorrect, my advice to anyone else please check your invoice! These guys must think they have the town wrapped up but there are more surrounding providers from South Coast to Canberra who can offer a finer befitting service than Allen’s. Worthy of note they are not a member of the AFDA (Australian Funeral Directors Association) who promote professional standards.
