Good basic drafting or artist desk – On the plus side.. it is affordable. It has a place for nearly everything like pens, brushes, scissors, erasers, etc.. It is basic but good for a… Read more

beginner or student. Works well, table tilts good and side table slides out well. Surprisingly heavy table! The little stool was a bonus. Super fast delivery! The negative sides.. the mesh cup does not like standing upright when things are in it, it can become unbalanced easily and some larger items can fall out. The drawers are flimsy material and to have wooden board bottoms would had been a better idea. So the drawers are only good for holding lighter stuff. Instructions could had been much clearer, and putting it together was a little tricky, but I managed to do it alone and took only around a hour. The little stool can be uncomfortable so I wouldn’t recommend anyone with back problems to use the stool. Still over all for the price I am fairly happy with it.

I needed a compact TV cabinet for a rumpus room. I had planned to make my own but at less than $150 for a flatpack delivered to rural Australia, the… Read more

"TV Cabinet FLAM 110x40x50 cm Solid Wood Pine" from vidaXL seemed a more sensible choice. The delivery arrived within a few days, well packaged to protect the timber panels. The assembly instructions were difficult to comprehend; no written steps, just images. The many screws and fittings were separated into plastic bags, but unmarked. A basic understanding of screw gauges might be helpful. More concerning were the timber panels, especially the top panel. It was distinctly warped. Relying only on the screws for the assembly would undoubtedly leave unsightly joinery gaps.

I decided to glue & clamp the joins before fixing the screws. It pulled the the joins into place and seems to have set securely. The poor assembly instructions and additional glueing and clamping effort extended my assembly time to a couple of hours instead to the quoted "1 hour".

My only other quibble is that under natural light the pine colour on the website images does not reflect the final product; the timber colour looks a little grey and more matte.

But, generally the flat pack is OK and reasonable value.

If I could give it zero stars I would – As per the other review, the setting looks great in the photos but when you receive it then the nightmare begins. Quality is total rubbish, weak… Read more

metals, mis-aligned bolt hole, thin threaded bolts, the wood stains with water, the table doesn't go together straight, and it dips at the join points, the rattan is weak around the seat joins, seats are uncomfortable and the "padded" cushions are so thin you would be better to sit on a folded-up towel. Further, in the first week of using the setting one chair broke and three of the chair feet came off, great quality, not really. So, please don't make the mistake I did and purchase one of these settings, you will regret it....

Cute, but poor quality and overpriced – For over $75 (or $58 with their current sale) you'd expect something a lot better than what you get. This table is tiny so make sure you pay… Read more

attention to the measurements. It's like a small side table. It's rickety and unstable, and the wood and paint are extremely poor quality. Mine is fresh out of the box with many flaws, dents, scratches, scrapes and other imperfections not attributed to natural wood. The paint is of thin, cheap quality. It actually leaves white marks behind on anything it touches (like my balcony tiles) and it's most definitely not weatherproof. It's not sealed (you can see the raw wood around the screws and where slats are attached). Buyer beware!

Side board disappointment – The functionality of this sideboard is great but that we're it ends. The edging on the cupboard doors and draw have bad paint work. The legs are a… Read more

joke. They are wood w a plastic coating (that is crinkled) to create the color I guess. I'm so happy that it fit together well as the quality of the product is poor. I will be replacing the legs w legs from IKEA much better quality.

Weak and Flimsy Garden Shed – I wanted to say something other than "Flimsy Rubbish" because that doesnt describe how weak and toy-like this shed is. There is no structure, the… Read more

steel sheets are paper thin, the base frame is a total joke of joined metal so weak I had to fasten it every 400mm to the concrete to have any hope of getting it square. The roof sheets have a join in the middle with a 10mm overlap so with the very minor roof slope rain water just pours inside. There is also no worthwhile roof overhang so rain water runs down the inside of the wobbly pathetic doors and into the shed. The magnetic door catches and plastic latch are so poor and weak that words can't describe them. Anyway the doors don't even fit or line up properly and have to be jammed into the opening by lifting the sagging roof. I have had to reinforce the roof, fit extra roof sheeting under the joint, beef up the doors, fit a bar across the doors to stop the wind blowing them open and away. Note that you cant even drill new holes in the sheeting as the supplied structure just too weak and bends with the push of the drill - I had to place a timber prop under every new drill hole to support the shed while I drilled to reinforce it. Its taken days of extra work to just get it water resistant. Please dont buy one - I reckon you will be very unhappy if you do.

really hard to put together and there were a few faults and missing parts which VidaXL were quite prompt in rectifying. The cushions are thin and cheap looking. All went well till about 8 weeks after I bought them and I moved one of them and rusty water came out. We had a look and the tubular steel ends are open so when we had rain it just goes inside and rusts. They say to cover them for frost, rain, snow but I thought that must have been for fading or plastic becoming brittle after aa few years. For over $500 I won't get more than one season out of these. There's no way I can cap the hollow ends either. I find it hard to believe a manufacturer can be so cheap as to do this. If it only lasts one season no one is going to make a return purchase from them.
