directly in the middle of the burner with no flame on 5-6" at either end consequently no flame up around the left and right logs. The fire / flame does not look realistic at all. Mr. Fireplace says it is designed this way because if it was to burn more evenly up around the outer two logs there would be soot all over the logs. Well that is utterly a ridiculous comment since you don't get soot from gas and especially not around Ceramix Faux Logs. When purchasing a gas fireplace MAKE SURE you are pleased with the way the burner is providing the flame you want before you purchase

Disastrous product, would not recommend – Had problems with this products ignition since installment 9 months ago, gas fitter continually being called, advertises 5 flame heights but only has 1, thermostat doesn’t work. Looks good and once going heats a larger area than advertised.
