One star, if I could give a minus score it would be around -7!! This product was recommended by a staff member at Harvey Norman, after I was informed… Read more

that the product (Chef) I was looking to purchase was not available. WORST mistake EVER by me , should have taken my own advice!! This product is (to be frank) a complete piece of junk!!! NOISY - Uneven heating surface - takes it's own time boiling water (even on the highest setting!!). Does NOT cool down as quickly an induction cooktop should. Be very wary regarding this product!!!

UPDATE: As of today (02/05/2026) we have had the service tech out twice to replace circuit boards and the issues keep occurring!! I am now demanding a FULL refund for a very poor product.

Very disappointed – I’ve had trouble with this since I got it. Not turning on without a thump on occasion then an element stopped working altogether. That was replaced… Read more

after quite a wait but the need to thump it to get it started increased. Then it started turning itself off multiple times through cooking. All elements. Then I noticed chips on both front corners. As I’ve used ceramic and glass cooktops before I know how sturdy they are so I was surprised at the chips as Im the only person using it. This seems like a quality issue here. So as I reported this all to the service people, they will not allow a technician to look at it until I replace the glass at my own expense of $195. When there’s a possibility the whole unit would need replacing it would seem I am being ripped off here. So I’ve decided to not waste any further money on a dodgy brand and take my $195 and purchase a better quality cooktop altogether. Sorry Euromaid. Either put out better products or get a better service company.
