We have owned our LC300 Sahara ZX for about 3 years. Apparently, there is a serious problem with these vehicles caused by the Turbocharger bolts… Read more

becoming loose, falling into the engine somehow with potential damage. Despite a Toyota dealer at Southport on the Gold Coast checking and tightening these bolts on our car only 6,000 kms ago, another dealer on the Sunshine Coast said they are missing!!! Therefore, either the first dealer did not tighten the bolts as required or the 2nd dealer is lying. I don't know which as it surely would be impossible for bolts to come loose after such a short interval. Another owner that we know said his (same) vehicle was off the road for a month because of the same issue.

review all the same applies, reliable, roomy etc Just an all-round great car. And again the fuel rule applies..drive it like a large heavy vehicle and It's not too painful around the city. But pretty good on the hwy. Treat it like a race car and you deserve what you get at the pump. It reflects what sort of a vehicle they are by looking at the resale prices.

As for Negitives.... Only two...The cracking dash board issue upto 2008 I believe and the clips that hold the side body mouldings on.

Tip for the side mouldings.... good quality clips and a bead of bonding agent. They don't loosen again.

Sold her as a family member was in a bind and needed a vehicle. Not off-roading, camping or towing at present but would by another if things change.

its quite cabin. Handling is easy and i found steering wheel on lighter side. Overall its an excellent car, durable and easy to maintain, no dramas. 2018 model doesn't have car play, seats are leather and very cushioned and comfortable.
