the engine, not the mower at fault, however, it was the engine that came with my mower! After 6 months the hour meter stopped working and was replaced. It then would not run properly and choked in thick grass at 7 months old. Taking it back to the shop, they replaced the plugs and fuel filter and ordered me a better air filter stating these as the problem (all at my cost $256). They were not we realised at 18 months old, so taking it back again they discovered it had a blown head gasket. This was fixed under warranty and at the time I stated this is a Monday model and nothing but trouble. Weeks later the problem persisted. It went back to the shop only to find at now 150 hours the other head gasket had blown and the mechanic agreed this was a Monday model as when taking the head off the bolts were not very tight. This repair was at my expense and the shop's as the motor warranty had run out. Returning home I find that the motor is still malfunctioning and not able to even mow short grass properly. I want this thing out of my life, but how can I on sell when I know of these problems? This mower cost us $10,073.05 to purchase and I regret this spend every time I look at the mower shining in the shed.
