Aussie Broadband USED TO BE excellent but not anymore. I purchased one of their Netcomm routers a few months ago but four weeks ago it stopped… Read more

working properly. It is under a 24 month warranty BUT Aussie Broadband say that while they should send me a replacement, THEIR INTERNAL SYSTEM is actually preventing them from actually posting it to me. I have now been waiting almost three weeks with only 5 minutes of internet before it all cuts out. I then can't get back on the internet until I power-cycle the router. I then have to wait anything from ten minutes to an HOUR before I can have just FIVE MINUTES more internet use again. I then lose the internet AGAIN! Sometimes I have been without the internet for hours until, somehow, the router 'allows' me a further five minutes of internet use. It is INSANE how lame and inept Aussie Broadband have become. This delay is solely due to their 'hardware department' ignoring internal emails from the sales department. I have had cyclone Alfred ,which is guaranteed to cause absolute destruction as it crosses the coast near me- bearing down on me yet I have been unable to go online to see if I am at risk (I live on a boat). I have explained this to Aussie Broadband during the repeated phone calls to them but it makes no difference to them. Aussie Broadband have become even more useless than Telstra. And THAT is saying something!
