Best Dreambaby Safety Gates

close itself, it often slams shut. Unless you have the most well behaved children that aren’t careless and remember to close it gently, this quickly becomes an issue. For us, it loosened the pressure rods over time and no matter how many times we adjusted it, it happened over and over again. The final straw has now been that the gate has fallen upon me opening and walking through it which resulted is a trip to the hospital for me. I’m just glad it was me and not one of my kids who it happened to. While this gate is great for low traffic areas or if you have extremely well-behaved children who won’t open and close it, for someone with a crawler and/or small baby, OR just to use as a general deterrent, I wouldn’t recommend it for areas you will be using more often. The design just isn’t safe enough for my liking to justify continued use.
