chilli con carne, endless various stews & curries, venison pot roast, chicken stock…and heaps more.

Like anything new, took a little while to learn how to use. Particularly adjusting wet ingredients so the resulting meal was about right. Also it is nice to finish some recipes off in the oven to get some delicious reduction & caramelisation going.

Sure it’s not the best quality. The lid is rudimentary fit and the sides and base emit a lot of heat and would be wasting a fair bit of energy. Actual crock pot is excellent though.

Fantastic value and the timer function is essential - can’t believe much more expensive ones don’t have this.

Instruction manual shows… LAMB SHANKS SLOW COOKER….. 2 lamb shanks just fit and stand upright, not much room for vegetables. Can’t return it as it’s has been used. I had to use it to prove it isn’t suitable for what I wanted it for. Show details
