My first slow cooker, had for 4 months and used at least once a week. Have cooked: whole chicken roast, lamb leg roast, minestrone soup, bolognaise, chilli con carne, endless various stews & curries, venison pot roast, chicken stock…and heaps more. Like anything new, took a little while to learn how to use. Particularly adjusting wet… Read more ·  1

ingredients so the resulting meal was about right. Also it is nice to finish some recipes off in the oven to get some delicious reduction & caramelisation going.

Sure it’s not the best quality. The lid is rudimentary fit and the sides and base emit a lot of heat and would be wasting a fair bit of energy. Actual crock pot is excellent though.

Fantastic value and the timer function is essential - can’t believe much more expensive ones don’t have this.

We brought this exceptional slow cooker from Kmart. Have now done roast pork in apple juice, roast beef in beef stock and onions, and chicken satay casserole. We were certainly impressed by how well this slow cooker works. The heavy insert insured the meat was so tender it literally just all fell apart. For the cost of $47.00 absolutely amazing value for money. Show reply

Bought Slow cooker 4 wks ago. Used 3 times. Meat/chicken cook really well however, the base of the whole.unit gets extremely HOT. My bench was "super hot", it did not burn. Next time I used it, I placed a wooden board underneath which bend over really bad. I took it back to the store, dont feel is safe.

Returned to store – I returned this product to to the store today. First time using there was a very strong electrical smell and thick white streams of smoke coming out of the base. I expected at first use that there may have been a mild first time smell but this was downright dangerous. Will never trust this brand again. Very frightening. Show details

Cooks well, limited lifespan – I bought this slow cooker in Jan 2022, 15 months later and it died today while cooking. Cooked food well for the time we had it (lots of slow cooked meats and curries. However, I think for a product to become hard rubbish after such a short period of time is awful. Show details

2yrs on, still going strong – I've had this slow cooker for just over 2 years. I use it at least once a week and it hasn't missed a beat. The 'keep warm' function is a must for me, as I use it to make bone broth overnight or when I'm at work and I'm not always around when it finishes cooking. The only thing I'd say is the timer only goes up to 12 hrs (I cook by broth for… Read more ·  1

24hrs), but I don't think this will be a problem for most people.

Definitely worth buying if looking for a slow cooker

Outstanding cooker, limited lifespan – This has been an outstanding slow cooker for the price, 5 Stars. We purchased the unit (Date code 45/18) in Jan 2019 and it has been used 2-3 times a week, with fantastic cooking results for 16 months. With the budget cost, the plastic materials have a limited life becoming very brittle around the two main cooking element attachment points and… Read more

the front control panel. After 16 months of frequent use the plastic attachment lugs holding the control panel failed with heat fatigue, exposing the circuit board and wires on the front of the cooker. We have been so impressed with this cooker, we purchased the same model again in May 2020. Prior to the second purchase we did research more expensive models however, they would have to last beyond 5 years to justify their cost.

Love it! – This slow cooker has been amazing. I love that you can set a timer and the setting (low or high) and let it be until dinner time. It is big and fits quite a lot of food. Every time we have used this, food has turned out great! Show details

My first slow cooker and I don't know how I lived without it – Simple to use, even for a non cook like me. Affordable, good price especially if you are buying your first slow cooker. Large enough to cook for family of 4 and some meal prep leftovers. Show details
