2016 Polygon Xtrada 6

A commute with unsealed road capabilities – The Extrada is a great bike for a daily commute, but don't buy it based on its rugged appearance - yes it has 32mm stanchions and a slightly 4 cross feel to it, but it's not good for anything harder than a rough country road. I certainly wouldn't put it on a track or jumps. It's a bit heavy for its spec but the gearing is swayed toward the light side so the middle range feels like granny low - to get anywhere fast you want to be somewhere around the top 4 gears.
The Schwalbe tyres that came with it look great but wear down after a very short period and they appear to be re-treads?
I'm happy with mine - it's great for what I need it for, but I wouldn't buy another.

Polygon refuses to honour its warranty – This mountain bike is used by a 55kg lady to exercise her dog on paths. The chain broke after 5 months use. Polygon said that the strain on the chain was beyond what the bike was designed for.
