Smooth Liquid Mineral Foundation is available in Vanilla Cream, Shell Cream, Light Beige, Medium Beige, Radiant Earth, Sienna Earth.
I have a medium to olive skin so I chose the 14.5 Medium Beige – Light to Medium with warm undertones.
The foundation is light, yet full coverage and the smooth texture applies amazingly well. I love full coverage foundation, but have been burned before with some other brand not surprisingly they were more expensive too.
The next test is how long does this last, Abbey Jade say that no retouch ups are need...ed. I made it though an 11 hour day without the need for a retouch up. So that’s good enough for me. Overall, the foundation is light and full coverage yet flattering and smooth. Application is easy using a make up brush or damp beauty blender. So far this foundation has replaced my 3 – 4 different brands of foundations that I would normally use. What still amazes me is that it’s natural and no animals harmed.
Foundation without the need for concealer
I have a medium to olive skin, which can be sensitive. (I have had reactions to liquid and powder foundations in the past). After receiving my Abbey Jade Mineral Foundation Powder, I couldn’t wait to test it out.
I started with my face being clean and bare. I then applied Abby Jades’s Mineral Mattifying Primer Gel (Clear) and waited for it to absorb into my skin.
I used my make up brush to lightly press the foundation powder into my skin in round motions finishing off with downward strokes. I usually use concealer with powder foundations,...but there was no apparent need to this time. It covered well enough that I could ditch my concealer. I managed to wear this for 8 hours without needing a retouch. I’d recommend keeping Abbey Jade Mineral Foundation Powder in your handbag on a night out or travelling. It’s fast, simple and hassle free to apply and gives that flawless finish we’re all looking for.
