Bread On Its Side – Love this bread! Just amused that the bread was packed on its side! Never seen this before! Show details · 1
Love this bread……BUT!!!! – We love this bread but recently have found that after 2 days it becomes dry. Previously we found it lasted longer. Show details · 1
Abotts Rustic white – this bread has changed, when toasted it is like crumbly cardboard
My new favourite – Great tasting and far better consistency than many softer breads, but without the holes that let cheese fall through like Helgas does when grilling... that's if it lasts that long. Show reply
this is a awesome bread and I make awesome sandwiches – In Hobart seems I can only get the bread from Woollies and although it comes inn Frozen they will NOT sell it frozen only thawed and I live 80km from the shop so thawed bread is useless but that does not reflect on the great breads of abbots--
Delicious Bread – Abbott’s Rustic White is the most delicious bread. No doubt the best you can buy. It is soft and very consistent. Worth every cent. It freezes very well Show details · 1
What's happened to my favourite bread? – The Abbotts white was my preferred white loaf until recently. Now the loaf is soft and fatty, sticks to your palate and often has big air holes through it. I wonder if they've changed the recipe lately, the bread just doesn't seem as firm or dense as it was. It is no better than a number of cheaper brands and as it is now $4 a loaf at Coles,… Read more
Abbotts can keep it. I'll be searching around for an alternative white. At the moment it's Coles own Farmhouse loaf I'm afraid....
Beautiful bread – First time I have tried Abbott’s Bread and it’s lovely will definitely buy again and it’s great to see natural ingredients! Show details
Good – In the supermarkets, this brand is often discounted if you buy two, making it a good buy. A good quality without being the best. On par with Helgas white bread. Good Texture and taste. Pricing is reasonable. "Get Over" using meaningless spin to sell a product. WHAT/Where is this "Village Bakery" and what is "Rustic" white bread. Makes me very… Read more
annoyed. I will pay for product, not spin. In fact the name puts me off buying it because it Yells "PAYING FOR SPIN".
Good – I bought this because I had a craving for a bakery style sandwich and I was pleasantly impressed. This bread isnt just something to hold your contents together, it actually has a great taste all of its own. The texture is great as the inside is so soft you could use it as a pillow and the crusts have a beautiful chewy texture. I cant see myself… Read more
buying this as an every day bread simply because it is just too expensive when bread on the shelf right next to it is half the price but it is regularly on special as "2 for 1" at Safeway so at those times I will treat myself. Fantastic rustic style bread that is big on taste. A little bit pricey.
Good – Abbott's Village Bakery Rustic White is a lovely white bread that has the look, taste and texture of home style baked bread and tastes delicious. Compared to most other white breads you will find in the supermarket, it definitely looks tastier, with a light dusting of flour on the crust and the larger sized slices are perfect for making… Read more
sandwiches. It is a little expensive than other white breads, but the taste and quality of the bread makes it good value for money. Looks and tastes great. Has a wonderful aroma. Slices are larger than average. A bit pricier than other white breads.
Excellent – The Abbott's Village range of breads is varied and well priced. My children prefer white bread (no surprise!), so the Abbott's Village Bakery Rustic White is my compromise. While it is a white bread, it looks and tastes like it has been baked at home. It is larger than the 650g square loaves, yet not too big to fit into a school lunchbox. This… Read more
bread keeps well in the pantry; it is still fresh enough after two days to be eaten without complaint! I would recommend this product. great size and shape, good value for money, tastes great
