Absco Carports

Seems ok – Took a long time for delivery told several different dates, some panels came damaged. Overall looks ok. Positive was the day it was due to be delivered it was first thing in the morning.

Double Skillion Carport – Purchased a Double Skillion Carport in 2011 and withstood the full impact of Cyclone Yasi, however some minor parts had rusted and Absco stood by the reputation and replaced 9 years later, Clark Macasio has been great to deal with and had the required parts despatched the day after we had contacted him. Am looking for a new Garden Shed for another property and will certainly be buying Absco, purely on the fact they stand behind there product. Show details ·  1

Good but could be better – The quality is good. The only problem I've had is the wait time for delivery i ask that you please keep in mind that people don't have time to continue to wait for an accurate estimate on arrival because I was told 4 different dates before it actually arrived Show details ·  1

Absco disgraceful company – I purchased a single skillion carport on the 1st of June 2020 from Bunnings i was told to expect dilivery within 60days because of the virus that was fair enough then in mid July I was informed by Bunnings that my carport was damaged in transit and that a new one had to be ordered then I finally get the carport last month on the 4th from absco… Read more

with parts missing and when i complained to absco all i get is we're very sorry we'll be looking into this indecent and that they have to make the parts that are missing its now the 8th of September and the parts that are missing are not minor parts their major parts that hold the posts up and holds the fascia on Bunnings have been VERY good in trying to get this issue resolved on the other hand absco has just been giving me the run around mabye it's time to contact current affairs or sixty minutes

Great carport – The service from absco was great . A bit slow on delivery because of covid and some parts from overseas but materials great and very good value for money it is a very sturdy struture very happy with this carport would recommend Show reply

Helpful, Easy to follow videos – Fortunately, the reverse skillion shed came with a series of YouTube videos that detailed every step required to build all the panels for the shed. These were much easier to follow than the supplied printed instructions. Overall, the assembly was fairly pain-free although there were some alignment issues with the roof that required drilling of extra holes, however this is something that can be expected. Show details ·  1

this product was perfect for my project – This car port fitted perfectly in my drive way and was at a affordable price easy to erect and drainage system was perfectly packed away into frame work. i would recommend this product ***** Show reply

Should have checked reviews before I bought – Was advised a 2 week delivery 8 weeks later and many follow up calls advised it would be delivered with a large shed we had also ordered. Carport arrived missing rivets and no sign of the shed. Im a patient women but it is very frustrating dealing with this company. the truck. Funny I dont have one. Communication between Absco and the freight company is rather lacking. Still awaiting a call back to see where my shed is. So..... another week gone 12 phone calls and numerous emails I FINALLY got our shed but alas if was the wrong one! Never mind the collected today and dropped off the new one, but only par of a section. The are most ridiculously incompetent company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I am through and will be getting a refund! Unfortunately I will need to wait till next Monday to give them the good news!!

Absco carport Had to drill way to many holes – For a kit carport which bunnings told me will only need to be bolted together I may as well have just bought the metal and designed my own , very few predrilled holes, not only did I have to drill around 60 holes they were mostly 10mm which meant buying drill bits and a more powerful drill, also instructions were poor although parts were labelled in instructions actual parts were not which meant measuring each length to work out what was what

well, you know – ... perhaps I had too high expectations about this product, or perhaps I didn't ask all the 'right' questions at Bunnings, but I was surprised by the amount of drilling to do to fit it all together. Although in an ideal world this shouldn't happen, but Jackie was great to fix it all up!

My only other comment is about the included instructions. It seems they have been written by somebody who has assembled hundreds of this carports .... well, I haven't. Would like to see clearer instructions written for the occasional DYO person. Perhaps some arrows about what's top or bottom, front or back and just a more specific description overall .

I am still in the middle of assembly, so cannot comment on completed product.
