5 Dave W  · Came with parts missing but ‘JEN’ was very helpful and delivered the parts straight away
5 Garry C.  · Thank you Ron for your excellent service on replacement of a part for my shed - very much appreciated. Will follow up when I have it erected.
4 Dennis F.  · Great shed. Very neat outfit. Few holes didn't line up. But very happy customer
3 Tim P  · Quite a number of the holes were not pre-drilled. Panels did not line up well when the holes were pre-drilled. Instructions were difficult to follow
5 Sima M.  · Very happy with product. Very easy to assemble and good quality.
1 Kirsty B.  · Don’t recommend – Missing major parts two times, and the instructions which you need to download app for are ridiculous!

Extremely Disappointed with Absco Sheds Customer Service I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Absco Sheds has been frustrating enough to warrant one. I purchased one of their sheds recently, and the installation kit arrived with several spare parts missing—critical components that made it impossible to proceed with assembly. I contacted… Read more

their customer service immediately, expecting a prompt resolution. Instead, I was met with painfully slow responses and vague assurances. Days turned into weeks, and I was left with a half-assembled shed and no clear timeline for when the missing parts would arrive. To make matters worse, I tried to access their warranty information on the Absco website, only to find that the page wouldn’t load due to persistent website issues. For a company that prides itself on quality, this level of service is unacceptable. If you're considering Absco Sheds, be prepared for delays, poor communication, and a lack of transparency. I expected better.

Very good shed for the price. It was perfect for our limited space. The only painful issue is the connecting screw holes which were 90% misaligned. We’re pleased with the installation instructions on the app Show details ·  1

Very poor tooling with basically nothing lining up. Some of the hole where only half in the sheeting. Could not line up or use screws provided. Three sheets were not numbered to correspond with assembly directions. The bottom joiners where to short for the sheeting. Additional right angle aluminium was purchased for the corners because of the tooling. Show details

Great shed! – I had 4 joiner connectors missing from my shed. I contacted Ron at Absco and he sent the missing parts to NZ straight away. I have assembled the shed and found that a lot of the pre drilled holes did not align. I have made my own wooden base spending $140 on timber so have saved a bit of money there. I recommend having a person help with the… Read more ·  1

assembly. I put the walls and roof together by myself but needed a second person to construct it. I am very happy with the result.

Great Value Shed – Great value shed that was relatively easy to assemble thanks to the YouTube videos. Assembly goes much faster if you have a second pair of hands (as I did) and if you have a bench to work on (as in the videos); unfortunately, I did not have a bench so I worked off the ground. Nonetheless, fairly straight-forward to assemble. My advice is to align… Read more ·  1

the wall sheets as best as possible and NOT to try to drill new holes/tap screws in new locations. The reason being was that the overall width and length of my shed ended up being less than the specified measurements and I suspect that was because I assumed that the holes were in the wrong place (as many of the reviews state). It isn't very noticeable except for when I tried to put on the roof; now I have a little extra roof at the front which might be ok for when it rains :) Also, one of the panels was bent on the edge when I bought the shed (from Bunnings) and it had scratched the panels below it. Absco (Sarah) was very helpful in offering to send out new sheets (and some missing concrete anchors). However, I wasn’t able to wait for the new panels so I straightened out the one that was bent and Sarah sent me a Bunnings voucher for some paint to cover up the minor scratches. Overall, I am happy with the shed.

Great value for money – I bought this from Bunnings and it sat in the box for almost 2 months before I had a chance to assemble it. unfortunately there were 2 missing components (and one surplus component). I called the 7 day hotline and the replacement components were manufactured and sent within days. Unfortunately freight took a long time - even via express which is… Read more ·  1

out of ABSCO's hands but eventually arrived and I finished assembling. its as good as a $530 shed gets. The only suggestions to add strength would be an extra length of angle (externally or internally) screwed in each corner where the colour bond sheets meet

Good shed, positive experience – Bought this kit as I was after a simple, affordable yet aesthetic garden shed. Had a couple of minor setbacks during the build so I got in contact with Absco and found their response to be timely, professional and friendly and it was quickly sorted out. Poorly Designed Rubbish – First, a 3 week wait to get the shed. All good I expected that. Then I went to start it, checked parts and one was wrong. I had to take and email photos to prove it. 10 days later it turned up. Not sure how they pre drill these things, but either the jig has ridiculously high tolerance or someone really needs to go to spec savers. Maybe 5% lined… Read more

up. Some don’t matter, easy enough to drill out, but some, like in the channels that need joining are in an unusable position, they are supposed to fix the channel to the “CSJ” joiner but were higher than the CSJ. The only option to drill two more holes, leaving two unsightly holes that go into air. Then there was a roofing hole 15mm or so out, none of them line up side to side bit could be re drilled but this one was so far up the sheet there’s no way the front panel could reach it. I had to drill a new one and seal up the wonky one. Other holes “nearly” line up, but not quite, which makes it hard to join without skewing the drill or the screw. The panels is so thin that the video of a bloke joining with an impact driver is a joke, anything over a gentle twist with a screw driver strips the sheet metal. I ended up reinforcing it with pot rivets. If you look at the paint it scratches.. maybe I just got a dud made by the new guy, but definitely cannot recommend these shed unless QC goes up a lot of notches !

Frustrating – Bit of a nightmare to assemble Screw holes don't line up. Parts missing and even after watching two videos, downloading PDF instructions I found it a very frustrating experience. Don't buy this product – Total piece garbage. Paper thin metal sheets. You can scratch the paint with fingers. Pre drilled holes does not match up unless you rotate panels and play try to find the screw hole game. When lifting up joined panels just fall apart during assembly. Crappy cheap design. Don't have time to write so many other issues.

NO! Never again – The price initially drew me to purchase this shed; however, if you lack any construction experience, I strongly recommend hiring someone to assemble it for you. If you're already considering the cost of labor, it may be wiser to invest in a shed with pre-made panels and superior quality. This experience has led us to conclude that we will not… Read more

purchase a shed like this again. At least two people are required to build the panels and roof, with an additional one to two needed for assembly. The structure feels quite flimsy, with misaligned holes and even some missing altogether. Additionally, the instructions leave much to be desired. While the price is appealing, the time and frustration involved in assembly certainly detract from its value.

Poor Quality - Poor Service - Don't waste your money – I purchased the 3 meter narrow shed. It arrived - unfortunately it was the wrong color and did not match the new colorbond fence we installed recently as it should have done. Six of the parts were not labelled, making it very difficult and time wasting to sort out. I rang the company hotline with 7 day a week service - That was Saturday and I'm… Read more

still waiting for a return call (Tuesday), so I had to go with my best guess. Many of the pre-drilled holes did not align. The worst instance was attaching the roof panels where there were 3 holes in the roof sheeting to attach to 4 holes in the receiving channel. The holes were not withing a bulls roar of each other. Some of the panels were damaged, the corners did not align well and need some engineering to put together. Many of the screws are exposed on the interior of the shed and are a danger, the external corners of the shed are very sharp and dangerous. The door jamb the bolt attaches to is at an angle making it very difficult to bolt the door closed. The shed itself seems flimsy, but it may yet stand the test of time. I was tossing up whether to spend a little more to get a plastic shed that I have on the other side of the house, and I'm very sorry I let my wife talk me into this cheaper rubbish.. If you value your equipment (and your sanity), get something much better than this, which shouldn't be hard. UPDATE: Some months on, I have to say, the shed is doing its job and, if you can withstand some of the frustrations mentioned earlier, it does give you a very cost-effective alternative. It's still hard to open and close, but it has demonstrated its ability to keep my mower and tools under cover and dry.

to construct the shed, so you can imagine when you reach a step and the part(s) are missing. Ill be honest, Absco Customer Service has been good, but due to the frustration, and amount of time this is taking to put together a shed, I am rating this 1 star. I wish I just contracted someone to erect a shed end to end. Such a waste of time. The shed as of this review is in pieces all over my garage.

Disappointing and Frustrating – Everything about my new Absco Reverse Skillion shed was disappointing and frustrating. diagrams difficult to decipher. Review of the online Absco videos provided little actual help. The fastening screws proved too short in places and often 'popped' no matter how carefully components were moved. Component preparation and assembly took an inordinate time period due to the poor instruction booklet. Despite great care in aligning panels during final assembly, screw holes did not line up; discrepancy varying from 3mm to 25mm. The shed door remains unattached as the (too short) screws will not hold the door strap. The finished product looks okay from a distance and appears to be watertight. However, closer inspection reveals structural shortcomings that do not auger well for shed longevity. My partner and I have previously erected a Keter garden shed of approximately the same size in one quarter the time taken for the Absco shed and without the continuous frustration! I cannot recommend this Absco shed.

Seriously? – I’m assuming if you’re a competent, capable person who can interpret inept drawings along with interpretive dance moves this shed would be easy to put together. Yes I’m female, yes I’m on my own, no I can’t put the stupid thing together. Can’t even make it up and just drill holes and make a workable shed out of it. Biggest waste of time and money and it’s now going to the tip. Show details

Are They Serious :( - Not all Required Items are in the Kit? – Re. Title: the FINAL CONSTRUCTION specifies to anchor the shed to concrete using 15 steel angles secured to the slab with M10 Dynabolts, and M10 nuts & bolts to the wall. Accordingly I contacted my supplier who were subsequently advised by Absco that I needed to purchase the additional items to complete the assembly!

To top it off the earlier assembly issues I encountered: 1. Many incorrectly located punched holes. e.g. using the punched holes, the initial door height was 5mm low and wouldn't operate. 2. Roof edge "U capping" arranged to collect water, leaves and dirt. 3. Per 2. above lower wall edge "U capping" also arranged to collect water and filth.

I solved item 1. by drilling many holes. For items 2. and 3., to minimise the filth and probability of rust, I filled the U channels with TEN cartridges of Roof & Gutter Silicone.

BTW, the overall quality and strength would be far better using pop rivets in lieu of the supplied self-tapping screws.
