Accusound Omega Series

Excellent quality and sound – I have had these speakers for 16 to 17 years, never had a problem. Still sounds great. I have towers front and rear and a centre and 12 inch sub. Having towers all rounds makes a huge difference compared to the standard small rear speakers. I hope the negative reviews here are isolated problems and not a indication of current quality. Show details

Great – I listened to them in Hardly Normal and loved the balanced sound teamed with a solid Yamaha product. I really only wanted the main speakers for stereo and am still loving them 6 years later Show details

Dangerous – I'm on my second set of speakers by the company and it is with regret that i tell you all they are now dangerous. My Sub has caught fire i'm just glad I still have a house. Accusound have gone to ground after several e-mails, I know they received them so i assume they have big issues, beware buying this product there's worse things with this product than just the sub not working. I have pictures to back this claim up.

Excellent quality happy as a pig in the proverbial do-do – I purchased these from Harvey Norman Gympie about 5 years ago, had absolutely no problems and the sound quality is excellent!! Teamed them up with a Yamaha RX-V367 reciever amp, have never gone past 36 on the sound level otherwise I would lift the roof off. No distortion at all but had to do the break in period to get really good sound. I say again, excellent!!

Highly disappointing – We are extremely annoyed at ourselves that we let a salesperson at Harvey Norman talk us into getting these. They look good and were full of promise until we wired it all up and started using them. In the first week we had to get the sub-woofer replaced when it simply stopped working. standing speakers in to be repaired under waranty twice due to a couple of the speakers not working. They now crackle a bit but i simply cant be bothered going through the hassle of getting them repaired again. Also, regardless of the repair issues, the sound is very disappointing .

Stick to brands you know!

Had to have speakers repaired or replaced on three seperate occasions. Sound quality is low.
