AEG BPK556320M Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi.I need help where to buy a door cover trimmer for Aeg BPk556320M if someone can help please?
We recently ran the pyrolytic function on our BPK556320M oven and the hard plastic casing on the top of the oven door (holds the glass front in place) melted. There was no instruction to remove this part before starting the pyrolytic function. We told AEG and they promptly replaced the part saying it should not have occurred. Can anyone shed any light on whether this has happened to other ovens? Or is this possibly just a faulty part that was not properly heat tested? I am concerned because we have ordered another of these ovens for a house we are building and I want to clear this up prior to taking delivery. Thanks Lee

I have a manual. Can't upload here, but if you email me at ianrossferguson@gmail.com, I'll scan it in and send to you.
Hi, i have seen no u tube videos of using this oven, since it is rather different to the usual Australian ovens why cant you guys be bothered to at least make one. Next time I'll buy a Meile at least they can be bothered to give proper instructions or make a u tube presentation. The instruction manual is made for the european market. Consequently I am not getting full use of this oven so thanks for nothing.

I have an AEG BEK556320M and the instruction manual was comprehensive and understandable. Haven't looked for a YouTube preso. Ian
That's great but doesn't help me in any way, also I know at least 2 other families who have the same problem with this oven, i don't as a rule have any trouble understanding manuals or anything technical. Cheers
Hi Kathy from Aeg, I won't contact customer service again, because I did contact Cs for some help when I first bought the oven and I didn't get any help I was just told its all in the manual, which it is, but needs to be in a simpler form. Thanks Rose
I too was hoping fir a utube demonstration as well. I too don't clearly understand best way even to roast a chicken. So many selections. What selection? What temp and how long? What number shelf? My book is missing dielectric to tidy husband lives chucking out pallets. Grrrh Thats all I'm asking is clear instructions for food type meal etc.
This oven is listed on productreview.com.au as having a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. When I visit retail sites they are asking for payment to get extended warranty up to 5 years. Can an AEG representative please confirm what the manufacturer warranty period is? I also notice the price quoted here is $1,299 but now it appears to be reailing for between $1,599 and $1,899. What is a reasonable retail price please?
I have this oven and I'm not sure what the true fan function is used for as opposed to the moist fan function, which function would be better for cakes and breads. Cheers Rose
In answer to this question you use Moist Fan Baking for breads and cakes. This information is in the manual.
Do you have a DVD or something to actually show how to use
