Not at all suitable for homes with pet hair. Vaccuum clogs up easily at several points and blockages are hard to access. Also, it is VERY noisey with a high pitched squeal. Short battery life.
Follow-up · I continue to be frustrated and disappointed in this product.

Pleasant Surprise – I have been thinking about buying a cordless vacuum for some time and I needed to be mindful of the cost. Aldi advertised their product last week for $100.00 so I checked out the Choice site but unfortunately, they hadn't reviewed this particular brand. I was taken aback though by the cost of the Dyson models etc. which were in the $1,600.00 bracket!
Because Aldi has a great return policy I decided to purchase their unit and used it for the first time, yesterday.
The instruction manual indicated it would run for approx. 35 minutes on low speed and high speed for 22 minutes, it has a 2 in 1 crevice nozzle and a motorised floor head, it can also be converted to a handheld unit for those hard to reach areas, it also has a HEPA filter. My unit consists of two bedrooms, a lounge/kitchen and a bathroom, the flooring is a mix of wood and tiles with 6 rugs on top.
It took a little getting used to as I had only ever used my barrel vacuum cleaner and having it bang into my ankles and get stuck around corners etc. or the cable disconnect from the power point was the norm. It is early days but I am impressed by its performance and the charge enabled me to get all areas covered, I found the power head to be a bonus with the light fitting on the front.
Of course, you need to keep an eye on the dust canister and make sure it doesn't get overfull and do take the time to read the instruction manual for advice on how to keep it clean etc. My only negative comment is that the battery unit is a rechargeable lithium type and are non-replaceable. I'm hoping I have managed to get a reasonable bang for my buck.
Good for small jobs – Purchased my ambiano 2 in 1 cordless vacuum Sucks well for approx 3 minutes then suddenly looses power Empty small amount from barrel and Process repeats Feels like you are constantly emptying barrel just to vacuum house On the upside, charges quickly and comes with a handgeld option for lounge or car And easy to clean out filters and head as all components come out to clean properly I will be keeping this vacuum to vacuum car only as seems to struggle with vacuum ing house
