Bought this from ALDI... Cheap, worked well, then decided to have a trip to rehab and did not want to recharge properly after about 4 months of use in to its 3 year warranty. I have bough previous Amdiano products and was happy with their performance and build quality, so disappointed this one let the side down. ALDI after sales service was prompt to advise on replacement (not currently available) or refund but disappointed, as it was a good little vacuum and easy to clean.
Purchased in at ALDI for $70.

Water tank fell apart on 2nd use. I put about 1tbl Bissel hard floor cleaner in water tank, rinsted out with clean water after use and left it for 2 weeks and when I came back the filter pieces had broken away from the bottom of the tank. I have lost the receipts and can't return it. Waste of money.

Broke down the 2nd time I used it - keeps saying it’s in upright state when it’s on an angle - battery dies before the first floor even clean!!!! Complete WASTE IF MONEY / repeat DONT BUY THUS PRODUCT
Follow-up · after a long wait on call/no answer, i sent a followup email requesting Aldi who not only sell the product but own the company to provide some sort of help as the product was still under warranty. they emailed to send through a video and receipt, or credit card statement - which i did, still waiting on a response after 2 weeks. bit disheartened as i have been a very avid fan of Aldi, always recommending their products and value for money to friends and collegues - seems strange that they are not able to help as they dont offer in store returns. where as most other retailers that i would of bought the steam mop from would of allowed returns straight away. very convoluted system, i really feel that this will put a stop to me buying in major purchases from their store as I also had issues with the mobile sims.

I was on the fence about buying for a long time but since having a baby 10 months ago wanted something quick and easy to use and I’m so glad I did! This vacuum mop is fantastic! I couldn’t rave more about how well it cleaned our hardwood floors and how easy it is to use. We have an old house (built 1925) with original timber floors that have large/deep gaps between. Our current vacuum and mop appeared to have been doing a good job however with the first run of the Ambiano we realised how little they actually did! The water was absolutely disgusting and full out dirt and debris! We also have a border collie and the hair is no issue - Some hairs require a second pass to pick up which is fine in my opinion. The only negatives I would say are, the prompts and volume of the prompts is very loud and cannot be changed. The battery does not last long (about 20minutes) and requires 6 hours charge minimum, we have a 100sqm house and we can do the main living areas once before it runs out. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Spends more time cleaning itself than the floor. - wants to self clean every time you put it on the dock even when you just finished a self clean - self clean involves spinning the head while drenching it in water resulting in water spilling on floor as the suction only runs intermittently. - during pipe clean water leaked from the top edge of the dirty water tank. - self clean uses more power than charger puts in so it flattens the battery. - after cleaning half the house the dirty water tank needed emptying, after this wouldn’t restart. After going through a clean and waiting to recharge it wouldn’t start. Was saying tha handle needed to be tilted when it already was, Eventually started then dirty water tank needed emptying and it wouldn’t restart after again. Tried to sort it again and then mopped the floor.
Plan to take it back.
Follow-up · Returned it and was given a replacement (Aldi were good in that respect). It does clean the floor, water comes out quite dirty so it's a step up from mopping or the robo vac doing its mop function however the remaining comments stand. It insists on doing a self clean every time it goes on the dock, eg. 1min clean up of a small spill equates to 20plus minutes of it self cleaning. Self clean function goes on forever. Self clean flattens the battery.
