STAY AWAY!!! From Aldi electronic products, especially large items like tv. The 65" Bauhn tv only lasted 2 months before the color completely distorted (see the photos). Contacted Aldi customer service multiple times with inexperience operators from Tempo who handle Aldi warranty. After weeks of process, finally got contacted by Tempo that Aldi… Read more
will refund in full after they pick up the item. Waited for whole day, nobody came to pick up on agreed appointed time. Contacted Tempo again and was told that I didn't confirm my availability, meanwhile I have email evidence that both me and Tempo has confirmed the pick up time. They set up another time again. 1 day before the pick up time, I rang Aldi (tempo) to confirm someone is coming next day to pick up the tv, and the operator confirmed. Waited another whole day, no phone call, no door knock, etc. Nobody come to pick up again.
NOTE: Refund will only be processed once the item is picked up.
Aldi or Tempo, or whoever in charge doesn't care about their responsibility. They come if they feel like coming. A lot excuses, a lot lies, a lot of scams. Talking to Tempo/Aldi customer service is going no where. Will be ringing the again next time, and will be recording the call, for reference when I raise the claim with VCAT.
Stay away from Aldi electronic product! Another day in Aldi, I saw people were looking at the Aldi tv, and I just showed them the video and photo I took. It's pretty much Temu quality.
After only 4 months the picture breaks up & its impossible to watch the channel. The warranty company 'Tempo' is off-shore & I find it very difficult to understand their English. I am unable to watch the TV & had to send short video to prove my problem - even though it is reported in the "cons" of buying this TV. My recommendation? DO NOT BUY. There's other cheap TV's out there! Get one with the warranty company on shore!!!! Show details
Won't buy tv from anywhere else now and so cheap hard to believe really Show details
For the money, this is a great TV. As expected, the interface is a little bit slower but it’s not too laggy and definitely easy enough to deal with. The operating system and remote are LG with LG apps etc all built in. I personally love the LG magic remote, being able to move the cursor around like a computer mouse is neat. The smart TV features… Read more
are great with plenty of apps to choose from and pretty easy to use. The picture quality is very good also and hard to tell a difference in quality from more expensive models. Games from my PS5 look great, Gran Turismo 7 looks almost photo realistic.
The sound however is awful. Speakers sound very tinny and cheap though this was easily fixed by adding a decent sound bar (which I think any mid range TV would benefit from). All in all I think this is a great TV and the best in its price range. Would not hesitate to buy again
Rubbish , after 3 days random colors appeared on the screen , warranty from tempo is too slow and seems like not interested to help Show details
Everthing works except the actual TV part, the free to air via antenna. No amount of scanning for channels, firmware & software updates have made an iota of difference. Tempo are looking into it. I even plugged my old tv into the antenna ,scanned for programs and sucessfully watched TV, but unable to emulate on the Bauhn, and Freeview is not… Read more
available in the app store for it, WebOS I imagine. EDIT: Turned out it was a $4 elbow connector I purchased from Bunnings that was the culprit all along. As soon as I removed the elbow my channels appeared. Since then been 100% happy with this TV
