Very disappointed – This is not a complete smart TV. It does not chromecast and you can’t add apps eg 7plus to it. Regretting buying it. A step backwards from my non smart tv that at least I could chromecast to. Good example of You get what you pay for. Show details

Disappointed with the sound, otherwise happy – Sound is really poor, very disappointed. Trying to find some idea's on the net for the "User" sound, equalizer (120, 500, 105, 5 & 10) they are all preset to 50, hopefully this might help ! Can't seem to find much on the net.  Show details

Good value for money but you pay for what you get – I purchased the TV for $600 at ALDI. The setup was quick and easy and the new remotes are a major improvement to the old ones unfortunately two dead pixels. Show details

Baughn 65inch smart tv – Do NOT buy this TV. Set it up, missing half the screen..Lines/blacked out..could not rectify with a qualified TV technician, settings or customer support. An outstanding TV. Recommended – My old 65 inch Aldie TV tuner died after 4 years of good viewing. One this bad about the old model was the remote. It was very bad. Hard to use. The old set is used for PS4 now and has a brilliant screen for it. We decided to get another as the price was great. I got it home and very easy set up. The remote is MUCH better. through the TV app. There s nothing I would say is a negative about this set. I have not use the built in audio as I always run it through a receiver and this model also has optical digital out.

greys do not look like greys and there is no way to even resemble black.

We got this TV and tried it out and when I say tried out meaning going into color configurator within the TV settings and there was no way to calibrate it to being acceptable. We placed the TV side by side with the 55inch Bauhn and the 55" was way superior and the 55" doesn't have HDR or Android, you would think the picture quality of a HDR 4K would be better than the 55" basic 4K TV from Bauhn well by thinking that your wrong - now it may be possible that this was 1 off out of a batch but I kind of think this was a native output of the TV

We took this back to Aldi and got our money back

is that you cannot download new apps or surf the net, but really not an issue as i can always plug the chromecast in.

if your looking to buy one thinking your gonna get a top smart tv for $660, you might want to reconsider, but if you don't mind the couple differences and want a tv that will outlast most, ten i strongly recommend this one.

just ask yourself how many panasonic, samsung, Lg, ect tv's now days has lasted longer than 3-5 yrs.

smart tv that is actually just dumb – thought id grab myself a present and grabbed the ATV65UHDS - 0120 smart tv that aldi had on sale at the start of the year. Got it home unpacked and plugged it all in, picture not to bad with standard media and is quite reasonable with 4k the sound through the tv is not crash hot but that is no hassle for me because i run it all through my amp. … Read more

Now to the main reason i bought the tv which is because it says its a smart tv.

well fook me it has netflix and other crap but you cannot install any other app etc to make use of tge net connection.

smart tv pft its a puppet tv that is very limited with the removal of the google play store and no way of install KAYO ETC
