Substandard Vinyl – I have purchased two sets of Bauhn bluetooth headphones and my only issue with them is that the vinyl material that is on the earpiece that actually sits on the skin of the ear is substandard. The vinyl on both sets wore away and exposed the foam rubber which made them unuseable. The mechanical side of the headphones were very good and I have no complaints about that. Show details

A unexpected surprise – (This poorly written review is NOT A paid review, this is how I write. But if anyone want to pay me to review products let me know lol) This is my personal review of the bauhn Bluetooth headphones from Aldi which I bought for $40. I am a heavy user of my headphones. Music is a huge part of my life. And having the best headphones really makes… Read more
the experience special. I use my headphones from the time I wake up and go to sleep. I use them for training (Cardio and weights). While reading, playing my ps4.
I also have headphones while I am soaking relaxing in the bath. Or just laying in bed contemplating on my life while listening to some tunes. Music is a huge part of my life and wether it’s motivating me or I am pondering about life. A good hight quality headphone can bring the best out of the song and motivate me.
I have in the past spent a lot on headphones. My go to place is usually JB Hi Fi cause they usually have the best deals.
Since I broke my last headphones I was in the market for a new one. And money is tight due to the covid.
So I decided to give Aldi headphones a go, what could go wrong right ?. Boy am I an idiot, I can’t believe I spent all those money on other headphones over the past years.
The first impression I would say I have for this headphones is. Pros -it looks slim, silk, durable. -the connectivity Bluetooth is quick. I use iPhone. -the on and off button is a sliding switch. -The volume, pause button nothing special there does what it supposed to. -the padding is nice and soft. My whole ears go inside the padding.
-after you take off the headphones you can fold the pads in so you don’t break them a nice touch I think. As most of my breakage of previous headphones came from that.
-the quality of the sound is clean, it elevates the singers voice. -the bass is boosted it balances out in songs. The bass is not over powering the signer or the music. -It sounds deep/dull but in a good way. -It almost feels like it automatically adjust itself in different songs. Like it has a sensor being able to adapt to songs. (might be over thinking this part. Really depends on the quality of the song. Cause I listened to some older songs and they sort of sound flat compared to other songs which has the bass and treble up.) -you have to adjust it to find the right comfort zone.
-The microphone is strong able to pick my voice clearly. -when spelling or writing using the voice command. Or when making a call. -it’s a tight fit, noise cancelling. Cause the padding is soft it doesn’t hurt. -I wear glasses when reading or playing games. Cause the padding is soft it doesn’t really press my glasses against my ears. -turns off if you have not connected your Bluetooth. Save battery life.
-easy to charge. -Comes with a wear cable if you don’t have a Bluetooth option. -Comes with 1 year warranty
(UPDATE) -was able to connect to my Sony smart tv, just have to hold the pause button down when pairing. -good for training, doing weights, treadmill.
Cons -You can’t change song. -if you double click the pause button it will start calling someone. -wearing it longer might irritate some people cause it might be to tight for them. (Depends on the person) -with glasses on it does press a bit on the front of the cheeks where the glasses rest. (Depends on the person)
This are minor criticism I don’t mind them.
I listen to dubstep, trap, edm, dancehall, Orchestral movie soundtracks, I sometimes listen pop, hip hop, rap and maybe some mainstream music.
This is my personal opinion on the product. This is what I think. Some people might like it or some might not. Really depends on the person and there taste.
I am personally in love with this product. I hope Aldi keep this at a affordable price of $40 and make this headphones even better in the future. Like bose headphones.
I will be definitely will be buying this again in the future.
And really I just use it for my iPhones anyway. my soundcloud, YouTube, Facebook are my go to apps for music and content. And it’s perfect for me.
I have added some pics of the the music I listened to.
Great quality and reasonable price – They are very comfortable and suitable for any physical activities such as running or housekeeping. Sound is very clear and the wireless range is good enough. My husband can use them for work from home( meetings) Show details
