I was after small ear buds for my small ears, and noise cancelling was also a must. The size is great, plenty of different sized rubber tips to choose from and the noise cancelling works really well. Show details ·  1

I am very happy with the Space A40 earbuds. The original pair I received had issues updating the software, but after some excellent customer support and troubleshooting attempts, a replacement pair was sent out to resolve the problem. I can honestly say this was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Keep up the great work. Show details ·  1

I liked the Earbuds I will list some issues from my last 2 weeks usage: Pros - I liked the Navy color - Light weight - Long time with 1 charge (almost 10 days) - ANC is working fine - Voice and mic are working very well. Cons - sometimes the Earbuds fall from my ears - the Bluetooth connection seems to have conflict with my HUAWEI WATCH GT 4,… Read more ·  1

only one of them can be paired with my mobile, and not sure how to fix this issue yet( my last Jabra earbud hadn’t have this issue). - I lost one of my earbuds during sleep and couldn’t find it (although it was very close)

I got it on sale, below $100. At that price point and with its features, this could be the best earbuds in the market. Show details ·  1

Great ear phones – Purchased these for $99. I've used them for around 2 weeks and took them on the plane already. Great noise cancellation and battery life. On the plane over ear headphones are better but these still do a good job. Have used them for calls as well and no issues. The only issue that I think can be improved is comfort, I am still playing around with… Read more ·  1

Extremely great – Ok, these are the best buds I’ve ever used. Clear, quick connection, great call conversations and wireless charging. Worth every penny. 2nd pair purchased for daughter. The charge lasts ages. Show details ·  1

Bought these to replace a pair of Jabra Elite Pro earbuds, after one stopped working and Jabra no longer makes earbuds. The shape is similar - but much smaller, and so they more comfortable in the ear. Especially if leaning or lying down - there is no longer pressure on the outer ear because of the larger shape of the earbud. The functionality… Read more ·  1

is amazing for the price. The app features are similar to the Jabra app, and it allows similar customisations (with a little less customisation for settings, but really the user has to really need to focus in on particular EQs to need this feature and if you need that you’re probably better off paying more for it). The sound quality is great. It’s not the same, or as brilliant as the Jabras were, or a top end gives you - especially in ANC mode - but for this price point, these are unmatched in quality and sound. I was worried about the microphone, as I do use my earbuds for calls a far bit, but haven’t had any issues yet. Assumably due to the price point, there’s no sensor on the earbuds to stop playing if they fall out of ears are removed, so your device will keep playing unless you turn it off or put both earbuds in the case. This is a little annoying but f you’re used to earbuds that have this feature, but you get used to it. The only complaint I have is how sensitive the tap feature is on the earbuds. If I accidentally brush my hand or lean on my ear and the earbuds it will take it as a tap. There’s no heat sensor to confirm the tap if from a hand/finger so brushing against a pillow if you’re lying down results in an inadvertent tap. But again, for the super low price point for all the other features, this is easy to live with. For the price, these are an amazing set of earbuds. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a change - especially anyone who gets any pain from larger earbuds. These are so small it’s unlikely you will have issues

I bought these after researching earbuds online, using multiple sources for reviews and information. Not being someone who likes earbuds myself, my only point of reference was other's opinions. The purchase was for my son who loves earbuds for use with his phone and listening to music to go to sleep. I did see that there were mixed views on… Read more ·  1

whether this model was comfortable for sleep and that another model was more suitable. I can tell you from my son's point of view that these are the best earbuds he has owned, and he finds them very comfortable for sleeping and general usage, so much so that he has stopped using his headphones on the PC and now uses the earbuds almost exclusively. He finds the sound quality excellent, and says they are far better than the previous earbuds from different brands he has owned/used - the bass tones stand out much more he says whilst still being balanced in the mix (he's learning the drums so likes it when they stand out a bit more so he can pick up on techniques and fills). From his experience and how happy he is with the Soundcore A40's, I'd heartily recommend them to others, and actually have to friends and family. Battery life is good, they seem well built and are great quality for the price.

Exceptional performance for the price!!! – I am simply astonished at the sound quality, fit comfort, breathtaking quiet and amazing Black Friday price of these buds. I bought them to replace a pair of much-loved Audio Technica buds, but these are vastly superior in every way, for about a quarter of the 2019 price. From experience, I attached the largest tips supplied and the fit felt… Read more ·  1

spot-on, first time. I've worn them for a 4 hour stretch with zero discomfort and zero concerns about them dislodging while walking the dog (my most vigorous use scenario). These are - by a great margin - the most comfy buds I've ever owned. If only they were a tiny bit smaller I could sleep in them, but I wasn't expecting that.

Much of the magic happens via the app, which is well-designed and executed slickly on Android (I can't comment on the iOS experience).

I rate the sound quality of the A40s as "What on earth have I been missing out on?"/10, especially with the HearID personalised audio profile. If you've ever had a hearing test, its setup will be familiar. Wanna hear the difference it makes? Disable it temporarily in favour of a flat EQ profile - the loss of detail is impossible to miss, even with my marginal hearing loss. I am now listening to my favourite stuff all over again and hearing so much more. I know there are many better sounding buds out there, but for $79????

The noise cancellation is also insanely good for the money. I've worn them driving with the aircon blasting and heard nothing but my tunes. To be honest, it's a bit eerie driving a Ford Fiesta in Rolls Royce silence. I use the extremely (and unexpectedly) cool "Transparency" ambience setting, which magically lets human speech (or more, if you wish) through the ANC. Turning off the ANC for a moment is a great way to appreciate how effective the passive (mechanical) noise reduction is in the A40s.

My only (minor) gripe is that the app's "White Noise" section has, ahem, no white noise. Just lots of interesting sounds that some may find relaxing. Soundcore: if you are reading this, please tell your software designers that white noise and ASMR are *not* the same thing, and encourage them to read up on the terms "white noise", "brown noise" and "pink noise" to learn what they ACTUALLY mean. Implementing all of these will make the A40s very appealing for tinnitus sufferers. Fortunately, there is a very easy & satisfactory workaround - I simply pipe my preferred masking mix into the buds from my trusty GN ReSound Relief app.

After two weeks with my my new A40s, I could not be more delighted with them.

My 2024 Buy of the Year.

Excellent earbuds, great fit, fantastic sound quality and really good noise cancelling. Especially for the price. I haven't spent a lot of time using the app but it looks interesting. Battery life maybe not as good as expected, but I've not had active noise cancelling before -that probably drains the battery. Overall very happy with the purchase. Show details ·  1

I discovered the Space A40 Earbuds through a Choice rating of earbuds - they were near the top and indeed rated best value - and purchased a pair based on that recommendation. I was very impressed, especially for the price. I have hearing loss in one ear and I can adjust the buds to cater for that. The noise cancelling is excellent. I have had the… Read more ·  1

Good value, the noise-cancelling works well. In transparency mode there is some white noise coming from the earbuds. The earbuds are a bit wide & slightly stick out beyond my ear, so I have to jam them into my ear canal so they fit closer to my head, otherwise they tend to drop out. Show details ·  1

Excellent sound quality and very reasonably priced. I bought these for my son after his old ones broke and he absolutely loves them. The case is also super cool as it’s nice and slim. The blue colour is also really nice being subtly iridescent. Show details ·  1

Got these as a replacement since I wear earbuds often and the ones I had before hurt my ears. These ones don't! And I'm sooo happy they have xs size ear tips too, which most brands don't have. Sound quality is great. I often use normal mode, and it blocks external sounds well enough that I don't need to activate ANC. The customisable controls and EQ were pretty neat. Bonus points for the case, it's not bulky and is terribly cute! Show details ·  1

I've recently lost my Space A40s and am saving up for another pair because they're SO good. They fit well, sound great (I'm a lifelong audiophile) and the ability to customise them from the iOS app is brilliant. And all of this for a VERY reasonable price! Show reply

Love the sound of these earpods. They have a nice base and an easy equalizer with either preset or customizable options. This is good for me because I listen to a wide range of music and podcasts. I've got more expensive earpods at work for making phonecalls. They don't sound anywhere near as good as the Space A40 for listening to music. Show details ·  1

These are very good earbuds for anyone who wants them for sleep. They are pretty comfortable. Most importantly, the battery life is good- not quite as good as claimed, but I haven’t found a better alternative. Battery life degrades over time, so these are a replacement for some older ones. Show reply
