The sound is good. So good you forget you are wearing them and thats a problem. Because they gradually slip out of your ear. It doesn't matter how you put them in, they will fall out. Follow-up · Apparently my ears are different. I solved the problem somewhat by getting these plastic sleeves that fit over the device and seem to hold it in the ear better. Had bought in first time 1st generation airpods, but was completly broke, so they helped my with a discount and a quick discussion very efficient to send me some others airpods that are working perfectly.

Airpods 3rd generation I knew I had to have them to replace the awful Airpod Pro's. They were touted with all the same features except the noise cancelling. They are really good. The bass is deep, the sound is crisp and they feel super lightweight when you're wearing them. They have spatial audio like the Pro's. I'm lucky that I have "standard" shaped ears and they stay in perfectly. The battery roughly lasts twice as long as the Pro's. The Airpods case is slightly bigger than the 2nd gen and slightly smaller than the Pro's case. It has wireless charging and magsafe charging (although not tested as I don't have a magsafe charger) If you have an iPhone and you're in the market for headphones you can't go past these lil rippers. Ordered from Apple with free engraving and delivered in 4 days.
AirPods started heating up in the left ear – I’ve been using it for less than a year and recently about 2 weeks back, the left AirPod started heating up and it got hotter and hotter to the point that it’s very noticeable and very uncomfortable. Called Apple and they are replacing a new one for me because it’s still under warranty. The sound is good and all but when I’m in a noisy train, I have to blast my music because I can hear the surrounding noise. When I am on a call, the other person on the call cannot hear me well.
Still, it is one of the best earphones – I was lucky enough to purchase the first generation a year ago. I like that I can tap on the ears to change songs etc. Also, sync well with Apple Watch and I can switch songs with watches. Show details

walking the left earpiece slipped out and because it was dark I couldn’t find it. I tried pinging it on my find my item app but because I had the case with me it kept saying it’s on me. Today I called Apple support and told them the left piece fell out of my ear and that this should not be happening and that I had advised them of this before and now the item was lost. The manager I spoke to insisted that there is no issues with them and that this is the first time he has heard of this and that there is nothing to cover the replacement of a lost AirPod. So I had to buy a new one which cost me $120 even though the pods are brand new. it is after a while you will forget that you're wearing them although battery needs charging in the case every couple of hours. It recharges quite fast anyway. As for music, it doesn't have noise-cancellation so you won't appreciate the music that much and it also doesn't have a lot of bass. I have a few sets of high-end headphones for listening but this one is ok for podcasts and just playing soft music while working or doing some errands like washing the car or gardening. I highly recommend the AirPods specially if you don't like in-ear buds like AirPods Pro
I also like the automatic switching between my Mac, iPad, and iPhone!
It's a bit expensive but it's worth the money.

Second pair faulty from the beginning, apple blaming me for damage to them. they are perfect. both headphones are faulty, wont charge, wont recognise, when charged they dispell charge when not in use. apple has said one is corroded (after only a couple of months) so they have no warranty obligation to fix either. Constantly falling out – The worst apple product I have purchased. Dreadful design - one size fits nobody - continuously falls out of ears - totally useless in gym or even on a walk. And no noise cancellation at this price? Steve Jobs would be turning in his grave.

Not only do they fit perfectly in my ear shape, but they’ve never fallen out, not even when I have been out doing strenuous running. The sound is what you’d expect, doesn’t support dolby atmosphere but didn’t expect that feature either. The bluetooth connects perfectly to my iphone and even to my windows laptop, and never randomly disconnects.
Couldn’t live without these – I use these every day and wouldn’t be without them. I find these sit more comfortably in my ears and don’t fall out, compared to the newer models. I love how they automatically connect to my phone when I put them in. I also sometimes only use one side and the sound quality is still great. They are so easy to use in concert with my iPhone. You literally just put them in and they pair immediately. I also love that you can tap one side to stop the music and tap the other to skip songs. The sound quality is great.

never buy from them again because of an issue with my MacBook Pro! But AirPods are water resistant not water proof, I accidentally dropped it and it’s working. So happy

are supposedly rated as IPX- so one would think they should cope with the climate. Eventually, I caved in and sent them back to Apple via their repair/warranty service for a checkup. I honestly expected a fix to be provided by Apple given they had not been mistreated in my view. Apple though otherwise and claimed that it was a hardware issue caused by water. They want $196.00 to fix these sub-par devices which I will not be doing. Do yourselves a favour and look elsewhere for earbuds. These Airpods 3 fit badly and don't sound that great for the dollars.
