Logix Dishwasher Powder – We really noticed a huge amount of white residue after I fully cleaned my dishwasher with vinegar etc, then after the first load the residue was even bigger than I'd originally cleaned off

It should NOT be sold – I clean my dishwasher every 3-4 months and it has never had soooo much build up. It was disgusting! I also noticed that the dishes and glasses are not clean when they come out and I have had to do second rinses several times. If this is how it has left the filter, I'd hate to think what is has done to the rest of the dishwasher pipes!!!! Oh boy!!!! It should NOT be sold!
White toxic residue on everything! – This use to be great. Now it leaves a white residue on everything that takes several hand washing sessions to get off! Terrible. Needs a recall! Cannot be safe! Show details
Was decent, now Terrible – Was fine, now absolute rubbish. White powdery residue. Woolworths Shine Powder is very good for similar price. Show details
Caused my dishwasher to clog up with grease – Been using this for the last 10 years or so in multiple dishwashers. Has been fine for many years, but recently, our Miele dishwasher started producing error codes suggesting something was clogged. After removing the bottom spray arm, I was horrified to see the amount of grease that was clogging up the dishwasher. I then started a routine of… Read more
inspecting the drainage area of the dishwasher every wash and could see it was progressively getting more clogged with every use. I then switched to the Miele tablets that came with the dishwasher and used this for a week. The greasing up of the drainage area was no longer happening. In fact, the area was almost completely grease free. I then realised that the "fatberg" that kept accumulating further down the sewer was quite likely caused by the dishwashing powder's inability to break down oils and fat.
Terrible results – Still available in Western Australia, used to be great, lately terrible, leaves a chalky film on everything after a wash, regardless of varying amounts in dispenser, high or standard wash temps, washing programs, no difference, avoid this product at all costs! Aldi - please sort this out with your supplier. Show details
Just does not work – Do not use. Put in a just used glass that had fresh smoothie remnants barely removed in. Show details
Do not purchase! – Leaves a residue/makes any plastics in the dishdrawer cloudy. Have attemped using less or more and same result. Show details
White residue on everything – Terrible. Don't even think of buying this. Only reason I tried it is because aldi ran out of tablets. My dishwasher is a mess. Show details
Leaves my dishes with a residue on them! – I had previously purchased this powder from Aldi and loved it. But, have recently purchased and it leaves a terrible white residue on my dishes, and in the dishwasher. I’m not sure if the ingredients have been recently changed, but I won’t be buying it again. Was great, now is terrible!!! – I have been using this product for over 12 months, and it WAS fantastic. The last bottle purchased leaves a cloudy white residue on dishes; especially glassware, cutlery and plastics. I won't use it again! Aldi, please let us know when you revert to the previous ingredients. Show details

Once good value dishwashing powder now terrible due to residue buildup – Product code: 43013 Barcode: 4088700104026 This dishwashing powder used to be good aside from the lack of enzymes which is understandable given the price point. My Aldi bought Sterling STR-DWSS14 manual recommended 27.5g of dishwashing powder in the main wash compartment but I found 1 tablespoon (14.3g) was more than sufficient on my admittedly… Read more
lightly soiled loads.
The composition of the dishwashing powder has changed over time and now even at 1 tablespoon a lot of residue quickly builds up in the machine, mainly on the filters but also around and on the door seals so a monthly clean with a dishwasher cleaner and a wipe out became a must.
1 out of 3-4 bottles seem to have terrible residue build-up so maybe different fillers not listed in the Safety Data Sheets are used for different batches and said fillers don't break down causing excessive residue so I can see why some people have a very negative opinion of this product.
I would not recommend this dishwashing powder to anyone now unless there's no other available options in your area.
half filled container – We just bought some "logic dust washing powder..1kg bottle. And while it was sitting on the counter (sun on far side) I noticed it's just over half filled. Theres entry of room for more soap...seemed odd they're either not using the appropriate sized containers (measured by weight) or just not filling them to save money. Show details
