ALDI Wireless Earbuds

Got given these by a cheapskate relative. Have given them a few goes but they are absolute rubbish. Zero care factor went into sound quality. If you like listening to stuff like AM Radio, talking with your kids over tin cans & string phones or Kyle & Jackie O, you may think these headphones sound okay. I have been ostracised by the family for being fussy, but I'm fine with that. These headphones suck. Show details
Ali Bauhn Wireless Sports Earbuds – I am happy with the quality of sound I can hear but have to have my hair tied back or the touch buttons on the earbuds will pause the music, change the song and jump all over the place. I also cant use them for phone calls as I have tested them on a few friends before using for work and was told every time it sounds like I have socks in my mouth… Read more
under water. Apparently the sound quality the person on the other end can hear is so bad it is not an option which means if I am using them for music when I am out and someone calls I cant use them. I will be taking them back unfortunately as they are so comfortable.
Absolute rubbish! – Enormous problems getting these to connect to the charger properly, so they will actually be charged when I need them (often fail to charge, even when they've had many hours to charge). Also, they periodically connect to the phone while they're in the charger case, interrupting phone calls and running the earbud batteries down, so this is another… Read more
reason why they end up being flat when I go to use them. When in use, they often drop out, even when the phone is only half a metre away, in direct line of sight. Sometimes the two sides get out of synch, so there's a delay between one ear and the other, which is absolutely horrible. They're worse than the $30 pieces of rubbish they replaced, even though they were more than twice the price. Difficult to get them out of the charger (slippery and small, with nothing to grab hold of). Even when the volume is turned down low, the low battery warning is really loud (not good for the hearing) and startling. Absolute rubbish! Avoid these like the plague!!!

Great earbuds – I've had pair of these for a couple of years now and no problems at all. Easy to connect, the sound is good and the charge last for ages. They fit securely, although I wouldn't recommend them for gym or running. I usually use these with my Samsung tablet,so I set them up using the Samsung hearing test and then coupled with the Dolby Atmos on Samsung I'm very happy with the reproduction they give. 2 years of use - still going strong! – I bought these 2 years ago and have been surprised by how good they are for the price. 1. They charge quickly - the charge lasts for days. 2. Great sound with no issues - I mainly use listening to books while cooking, cleaning etc. I also use these for phone calls and my hard of hearing dad can always hear me well when I use them. 3. I use… Read more
these nearly every day - and they are still going strong with no issues. 4. Happy with the wireless range - If I put my phone in the middle of the house, I can go all throughout the house (eg. cleaning) with no issues whatsoever. 5. I've never had an issue with these falling out. 6. I've bought a second pair as a backup for myself and one for my son - both pairs have been working with no issues whatsoever.
Exactly what I was looking for and affordable too – Superb. I listen to everything from my phone including media and receiving calls. Range is amazing. Can leave my phone upstairs playing my favourite tunes while I work out downstairs. Good for cycling too. Dropped it many times and still works.high quality sound, lasting batteries. Show details

Small drop = broken – I used the ear buds for 2 weeks, and in the second week one of the earbuds dropped a height of about a metre on to tiles. It's now broken. Overall, the sound quality is solid, it isn't amazing but it's good at cutting out ambient noise. Just due to how fragile they are, I wouldn't recommend them, they're nice and cheap, but nothing more. Show details
Bought Thursday return Friday – Four blue lights indicate a good charge on base. Buds will not charge past 10%. Multiple attempts at charging no joy. Exchange or credit I don't know. At least ALDI is good with returns. Show details
Charger broke quickly and pairing intermittent – While the blue earbuds I purchased fit well, they only sometimes both remained paired despite being fully charged and the sound quality was at times quite poor. The charger broke within 2 months of purchase - the metal part to connect to cable loosened and is now rattling around inside the case. I was using the right cable to charge with and… Read more
inserting in the correct way. I cannot find my warranty card and receipt as I was mid-house-move when purchasing. Not feeling happy with this $60 lemon.
There doesn't seem to be this model of ear bud charger available for sale separately.

Really good little earbuds – I’m really happy with my earbuds. They work every time I put them on. Have good range. The battery life is really good. Hardly need to charge them and if you tap them they pause the music I found out the other day! They also stay in when I run. Show details
Excellent value when charging correctly – Looked to be good value but initially had a charging issue. Turned out there was a protective green film over the contract points on each bud. When this was removed charging worked fine. Sound quality and volume is good although not hifi. Show details
2 years old and haven’t skip a beat! – I was a little hesitant buying these because of the reviews I read stating left side faulty and disconnecting from Bluetooth, mine have been unreal for calls and music! They automatically connect when removed from case, I get 3 or so hours use before they need recharging and I get 5 full charges from the case before having to charge the case, controls are a little confusing at first but I can’t fault them. 1st pair failed. Right ear bus did not work – Bought the yesterday. Charged up and blue toothed to my phone. The right ear bud does not work. Went back today and swapped for another pair. They are currently charging. If thye don't work I will get a refund, and pay the price for a decent pair. Disappointing to read the other reviews on here. Quality control clearly an issue. Won't pair the earbuds simultaneously. Mono-audio! – There are 2 options to pair/connect; but neither of them works properly. I have paired/connected then unpaired/reconnected multiple times to try and get it working in stereo. Only one earbud (L or R) will connect at a time. Sometimes it switches between L & R, never stereo. Useless, just no point in keeping it. Show details
it is ok but the right earbud would volume up without me wanting it to – they have been ok for a while until recently the right earbud has been powering off and been turning the volume up while it was in the case it has been doing this more and more now.
Suprisngly good – I bought these only a week or so ago and have used them daily since then. To be honest I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the reviews here, but for $79 it was hard to say no. That said, most of these reviews are 12months old, so its possible these are a newer make? The ANC is not bad, at the very least comparable to other more expensive… Read more
brands, the sound quality is great (albeit with a little tweeking in equaliser settings), Bluetooth connectivity is good. One upgrade I did make was to use foam ear hole add-ons instead of the silicone ones that came in the box. only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the controls. There isn't a physical button and it can be a bit temperamental but that is not a deal breaker for me. I rate them so much I went and purchased 2 more sets, one for my wife and the other for my daughter. It's still only been a week, so I guess there may be issues in future but with a 12mth warrantee I don't think there is much to lose. Verdict: worth it.
Poor sound and poor fit – The ALDI earbuds continually fall out. I’ve tried all three bud ear plug attachment but no joy. The sound quality is VERY tiny. I unfortunately read the positive reviews and on them I purchased two pairs. They are not worth the money. Show details
Great for music, but not so great for phone calls – The sound quality for these are great - clear and crisp, which makes them great for listening to music or watching videos/movies with. However, whenever I tried to use them for phone calls, the receiving party would almost always ask me to speak up, or I'm breaking up, or they just simply can't hear me. A bit disappointed as I was hoping to use… Read more
them as wireless earbuds for phone calls and video chats more so than using them to listen to music/watch videos with.
So if you're looking for great sound quality for listening to music with, I would recommend this. Not so much as wireless earbuds for making phone calls.
Great buds! – Easy to set up and great sound. Volume and range good for my purposes. I've used them almost daily for 12 months, mainly running and walking and they've been fantastic. The spare ear pieces are great to get the best fit so no issues with falling out. They have a 12 month warranty, and I've just returned mine (with a few days to spare) for a… Read more · 1
refund because the left one had stopped working. But that's no big deal... I see they're on sale again next week, so I'm going to buy another pair.
BEWARE! Worst bluetooth connection I've ever experienced! – I'll be returning these ASAP. While the audio quality is great the bluetooth connection is SO weak any small movement from turning my head to taking a single step can have the connection break up. The distance it covers is almost as bad. The device can't even maintain 5-6m range without dropping out & disconnecting Show details
Great sound, everything else is terrible – These sound great and are easy to connect, have a great battery life but don't go near them. The microphone is basically non existent, no one can hear you on a call. "You sound really far away". I could forgive that but what I can't excuse is the way they have the buttons. They aren't a physical button, you just touch to back of the earpiece but… Read more
all you have to do is breathe on it and the button will be pressed. If your ear even slightly glances the edge of the button then it is triggered. Songs constantly pausing, restarting and people constantly being hung up on during calls. If I could meet the person that signed off on the design I would shove them right where the sun doesn't shine.
Look good . But not the quality I expect – After few weeks old. The charging base for air pod not working ..just a waste of money .look good when i bought it. Not a good present for Xmas. And losing the receipt is a waste of money. Show details

Charger doesn't work – I loved the sound through these, they fit perfectly and didn't budge on the treadmill. Unfortunately the charger doesn't work and I know have dead earbuds that I only got to use a couple of times. These were bought and then put away as a gift for a few weeks so unfortunately no chance of an exchange. Show details
Surprisingly really good! – I managed to get a pair on Saturday 27/05 and they were the last one's at my local Aldi. For $60 I wasn't expecting them to be amazing but surprisingly they're really good. Easy to set up & pair, good connection from 5-10m away from my device and the sound is clear. I use them for all my work calls from my laptop for most of the day. It's great… Read more
they come with the difference size ear pieces, makes them fit so well. I'm really pleased with them and recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to fork out $200+ for the apple version.
Too good to be true, unfortunately – Aldi has a habit of releasing products in the realm of "too good to be true" - Exceptionally well priced and above average performing products for a considerably lower price than all competitors. This trend is the same for these ear buds. $70 for a pair of true wireless headphones with charging case, this price is significantly lower than any… Read more
other true wireless headphones on the market currently. Aldi often has a skill for churning out quality products at these prices as well - you only need to look at their past TV offerings to see that. Unfortunately that has not carried across to these, I had a multitude of issues for the couple weeks I had them, first they were difficult to connect and the sound was quite grainy, after a while this seemed to have fixed itself, not sure how. I managed to get a couple days of good usage out of them before the left earbud refused to connect - it worked however it would cut out regardless of how close your phone is to the earbuds. After this happening on and off consistently for the entire day I ended up packing them into their box to return to aldi, unfortunately I did not get the chance to try out the microphone or even get a proper review of the sound quality.
Do not recommend, do NOT buy these. I have returned mine and will wait until the next run and give aldi another chance, as I said its not often that aldi releases a product of such poor quality so I would pencil this down as an anomaly.
Got mine for motherday So easy to pair and the sound is fabulous i love them – Music, phone calls ,google assistant and they are definatetly perfect for physical activities not to sure on the range as yet The sound is crystal clear the fit very snug you have 3 bud sizes for your ear buds no falling out Show details
Left ear bud not working at this time – I really love this product for sound, fit and feel. Never felt like they would fall out even though the Thai gym I was in was so hot and I was sweating like crazy. Then the left one started to cut out and now wont work at all. Such a shame because there's so much positive about them except they just don't work. Show details
Disappointing – Used these for Spotify and YouTube, they were great at first but then they started going downhill, first the charging was a pain, the little magnet is annoying because whenever you have to charge them, I have to wiggle them until the red light shows that its charging, and when they are I let go of them and they turn the power on. The left earbud… Read more
didn't cut out but it stopped working, it won't charge at all doesn't register that it should be on and I have to use the right earbud instead of both. You get what you pay for is how I would describe these, I'm going to take these back to Aldi as they are still under warranty, hopefully these next pair aren't as bad. Just get Air pods or Galaxy buds. $60 for these pieces of crap.
Great sound but bad build quality – These ear buds are great with some exceptions which means I have to return them. Good sound quality and fit in the ears really well. Microphone on voice calls is exceptionally clear. Once I worked out how to switch them of and on properly, they are awesome. However, like most other people, the left ear bud cuts in and out sometimes which can be… Read more
annoying. Can fix this problem mostly by keeping the phone within 0.5m of the ear pieces.
And the worst problem is they just don't charge properly, if at all. They come with a charging case where each piece connects in via a small magnet. I thought this was a great idea...easy connection? The problem is I have to now wiggle them around a bit to get the lights to come on for charging. But they must disconnect and don't charge. How many times I'm out and after 20 minutes, "low power" messages arrive then switches off....usually the left one.
Don't bother with this product. Pay more for something that works.
Left earbud useless – Left earbud cuts in and out. 3rd pair. All the same. Sound would be good otherwise!! Good for workouts. They stay in ears. Quite comfy.still goin in the bin though Show details
Rubbish Dont Buy – I recieved them as a Christmas Gift and was so disappointed with the quality of the connection. Like with many of the reviews, there is an issue with the left earbud. I took them back to Aldi, as I didnt have the reciept they were happy for me to swop for a second pair. The second pair also have the same issue so I will be taking them back and… Read more
see if I can get my money back.
Please dont be misslead, this is a product review only, I really like Aldi, I get great service and have other electronic products I've purchased from them with out issue, it's just these earbuds are not great at all
Really Bad – Unfortunately I bought this. 1. connection range is not enough 2. One of them always lost connection with the source, even the range is less than 1 meter. 3. Easly slipies from the ears. You can not event walk. 4. Better get the samsung. Show details
Bauhn Earbuds – Awesome headphones, good sound quality for something that was $60. Great battery life and change quite quickly. Good replacement for my samsung ear buds that were stolen. So a cheap alternative. Show details
Worked great… until they didn’t… – Worked really well, until inexplicably deciding they’d still work, just really REALLY quietly. Huge shame. Show details
These are great – These are a great set, I loved them until my teenage son borrowed them without asking and lost them Show details
