process as requested. Despite this, my claim was declined, and the reasons provided were unclear. Even after requesting a review, I was left feeling that getting a clear explanation was harder than dealing with the injury itself.

Imagine taking out insurance for peace of mind, only to find yourself feeling more anxious when you actually need help. Insurance is supposed to reduce stress during difficult times, not add to it.

What hurts most is not the financial cost. It is the feeling that when I genuinely needed support, I was met with uncertainty, delays, and a lack of transparency.

I also noticed that, at the time of writing, the company’s Google rating is around 1.8 stars. I wish I had paid closer attention to customer experiences before choosing this insurer.

This is simply my personal experience, hope it helps you make your own decision and seek another insurer for yourself,

Allianz are the biggest bunch of scum bags around. Years of paying $100s of thousands of dollars in premiums and when they are required, they squirm out of liability on a technicality. Lying pieces of garbage. Do not support this disgusting company. Show details

Outstanding Customer Service – I have dealt with Allianz twice in the past two weeks, and each time the phone is answered within seconds and in another second a real person. Both theses staff spoke spoke clearly and I could understand. Problem solved in around a minute. Great service, when great service is hard to find these days. Show details

Worst Sytems ever – Unable to create a portfolio and manage my business policy online. Rang, on hold for 10 minutes, went through the whole who are you process, to be told nothing could be updated because their system is not working and please ring back. I was then put through to a survey on how well I rated my the service I didnt receive!!!!! Show details

the outcome of an internal review I requested in relation to this decision, provided me with attendant care entitlements that I cannot redeem because no registered WorkSafe providers are available or willing to support me daily for 1 hour as stated in Allianz's approval letter, withdrawn my access to physiotherapy without explanation, issued inconsistent documentation, and confirmed that the OT-driven request for household assistive aids was completed. In fact, I received 2 assistive aids on 14/05/21 and 15/05/21. Four remaining approved items are yet to be received. My wrist is still broken and I have been advised by my GP and an independent medical examiner that I will not be fit for work for another 6 months. On the 1 to 10 pain scale, I rate my physical injuries at 6 and my interactions with Allianz at 12. Please explore your options further before signing up with Allianz. 17-18 years and have maintained insurance cover through our broker since that time. We have never had a claim. Our broker put the insurance with Allianz in 2013.

We are in our 70s and stayed to fight the fire. We managed to save our home but lost the barn, stables and accommodation which included probably $80 000 in saddles plus tools, horse equipment etc. We now have no income as a result of the damage.

We put a claim into Allianz and they did pay us for contents. Be very careful here because it quickly became apparent we were seriously underinsured on the contents part of the package.

Allianz are refusing to pay for the loss of the building which were insured for over $900 000. They have chosen to interpret certain clauses in a way that is favourable to them and much to our detriment. There were questions asked verbally that were not documented in any way and they are using these to our disadvantage. We have had to go to the insurance ombudsman and are awaiting a decision.

This has been incredibly stressful. We, like many other people, have had the year from hell and this situation is only compounding the problem. We paid our insurance premiums in good faith expecting that we would be covered in the case of catastrophic loss. Now we have no income, no business and no way to solve the problem unless Allianz comes to the party and does the right thing.

Very satisfied with their Policy & excellent Customer Service – Had no issues with Allianz & their policy cover .Very prompt Customer response...)Now had to take it off due to loss in my buisness).But so far Good company to deal with for my Buisness insurance.
