Rugged bluetooth speaker that is perfect for the garden – I like to work in my garden while listening to digital radio, and my phone speaker isn't loud enough. So I went looking for an affordable bluetooth speaker that I didn't have to worry about getting wet or dusty or easily broken. I'm extremely happy with this speaker, I've had it about six months now. Easily paired with my Oppo phone, a long battery life and loud enough to reach the whole backyard, with a sound that's not tinny. It's encased in soft plastic so that if I drop it, it doesn't break. It happily plays all day while I dig dirt or sieve compost - my phone battery wears out before the speakers do. Easily recharged by USB. I haven't tested its waterproofness yet but it has an IP67 which is apparently 'everything proof'. The sound is not really good enough for parties but it is rugged, compact, long battery lasting and does everything I need it to do.
