Angelcare Nappy Disposal System Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: AC322hi all im thinking of buying this angel care diaper bin. How many diapers can fit - how often do we need to change the cassette. is it too expensive?
We have used the same bin for two kids, so about four years. Nappies/diapers get bigger as the child gets larger so the number the bin fit reduces as the nappies get bigger. Is it too expensive, in my opinion No. Buy the refills in bulk to save. Also the real question is Does it contain that terrible smell and yes it does.
Hello. The Angelcare Nappy Liner can hold up to 180 nappies, the bin itself will accommodate 38 nappies at the one time. Once the bin is full simply just cut off the liner, throw it out and tie a knot in the continued liner to keep using it. Generally speaking you will need to empty the bin every 3 to 4 days, and the liner will last approximately a month. Hope this helps.
We have an Angelcare Deluxe nappy bin that is malfunctioning such that the internal mechanism (that prevents odour escape) isn’t working. I think it’s been discontinued, but is there anywhere it could be replaced or repaired?
Hi Daniel. I apologize for the time delay in getting back to you. Please forward me a copy of your receipt, your contact number and a short video of the issue to marta@valiantbrands.com.au and I will be able to assist you further.
Can you help!!? Was emptying bins whilst cleaning a new clients house & not knowing how tommee tippee bin operates stupidly pulled the whole bin liner out !!!! Ooooops , how can i put all that liner back in catridge????? Does this mean ive got to buy a whole new catridge?help!!
I need a nappy bin mainly because we have a swing lid bin in the bathroom for nappies but my baby has taken a liking to the lid and we can't keep him out of it. We need a bin that keeps him away from nappies is it good for this?
Hi joy.potter.524,
The Angelcare AC910 Deluxe Nappy Disposal system has a hands free lid, and a separate internal closure system, so even if he manages to open the bin lid, we won;t be able to access the nappies inside.
Do you have to use the refills or can you use any liners ?
You have to buy their refills and they're not cheap. You're better off buying another brand as these ones are NEVER on special but the other popular brand stocked at Big W sometimes is. But what you can do instead is buy nappy bags, put nappies in those then into the disposal system.... but then really it's just a glorified bucket, lol.
Sorry I meant you're better off buying another brand of disposal system (not refills).
We use big plastic bags. It wors fine and seals well. Our son is approaching two now though, we started putting his pooey nappies outside in the summer as the smell was unbearable in his room, guess the normal in liniments are too porous? Or Aussie summer heat too much :-) his wee nappies are fine in there till bag fills.
I've bought a new one, but cant get the bag down from the cartridge thats already in place. How do you change cartridges please?
My husband always did it, lol. Take the whole lid section off. He said there is a strip that runs around the outside of the cartridge kind of like the safety strip you have to peel off medicine bottles. Remove that to reveal the bag. Pull the bag into the middle of the dispenser and tie a knot then push it down through the disposal compartment (only just through there, not all the way down). When there is no bag left then just remove the whole lid compartment and just remove the old cartridge and fit the new one. They have instructions by pictures on the side of the cartridges too..
You need to remove the lid, not the flap where the nappies go in, but the whole top bit. There is a lip on the back that you can pull and it will open to expose the blue cartridge. Sorry I'm not very good at explaining this! I found the instructions online which may help you (http://www.angelcare-monitor.com/pdf_manuals/DDS_eng.pdf) good luck :)
Hi Sarkazm 76,
