The Worst Customer Service Ever
Purchased a 4 camera system 2 months ago, had a minor issue with set up not connecting, geofencing works randomly, does not record detections at times, and one camera doesn’t show anything at night other than blackness. On all four occasions I have contacted Anker support and all four occasions they just fob you off with the worst crappy email reply and always tell you they cannot help and go back to the retailer. I would have to say 100% find an alternative product where the customer service will actually back the product the company makes, re...st assured this team simply does not and I regret the purchase for $700 because nobody within the company can actually give me any idea of what the issues might be. I ended finding a company that will take a look at it for me but cannot do the work under warranty for me as they are not an affiliate with Eufy, but they do offer advice and service something Eufy refuse to do.

Note that the HomeBase needs an ethernet cable to the router, not wifi.
The product does work as specified. I misunderstood the fine print on the box, and thought the HomeBase unit was also ‘wireless’. Not so. The HomeBase unit requires a full time ethernet cable connection to the internet. I wrongly expected it would work over wifi. My bad.
Otherwise it works fine as advertised.
The Perfect Home Security Solution - Faultless
I have the 2c system. Setting this up was a breeze, the 2 mounting options are very easy to use and the quality is great. The clarity of the audio is crystal clear both ways, compatibility with a number of devices in the house with a great picture as well as a high level of reliability in the connectivity & the 365 day battery life are all amazing. Internal storage means no expensive cloud storage options (and no subsequent hidden fees) which means for my application at home, it is the perfect solution. Highly recommend!
Purchased in July 2020 for A$649.00.
Pretty good system!
Bought a 4-cam system (Model: T8807CD3) just before the Christmas holiday to monitor the home, and pretty pleased with my purchase. The highlights are:
1. videos are stored locally and there is no need to purchase cloud storage
2. cameras do have very long battery life. For the drive way, it lasted about 6 months, and for the side walkway, it would last a year.
3. setup was simple for the devices as well as the software
4. it is relatively reliable, but there are still false positives in motion detection
5. software is constantly being updated
Purchased in December 2019 at Eufylife for A$999.00.
Unfortunately doesn't live up to the hype !
I have had my Eufy 2c four camera system for two weeks and have had nothing but issues. Very easy to set up and the picture quality is great, but that's about all that is good. It's very glitchy as the majority of the time it won't detect motions or send notifications. You have to continually change the settings to try and get the best out of it, which in itself is very frustrating. So disappointed as I researched long and hard to find a wireless system within my budget. There are plenty of similar complaints lately on the Eufy App community forum. Anyway these will be returned unfortunately.
Warning: Eufy controls access to your Eufycam homebase
Warning: Eufycam controls access to the homebase you purchased to storage your video locally. They have you believe you control the video data at your home, but they require you to login to their access control over the Internet to access the data on your own storage device that you purchased. So if the Internet is down you cannot access your own videos. You can’t even remove the storage card and uses a card reader because they have a date encrypted so you can access it. You are at the complete mercy of Eugy to access your videos. If they don’t download or the crappy software stalls in the middle of downloading you can a longer download those videos

Absolutely useless, look elsewhere
Bought these expensive cameras a few weeks ago. I was willing to overlook the fact they have a totally pathetic range in which they can be placed from the homebase (maximum about 6 meters) because of the wide lens and long battery life. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the wide lens and long battery life is all that works. The system is not reliable at all, it might send you a motion notification on some days but not others. I now cannot view any video recordings at all, either on my phone or on a PC, unless I open it from the push notification (which is totally bizarre). Vision at night has a range of about 1 meter. The customer service is appalling and don't actually respond. Totally disappointing. Will be returning.
Great product, quality footage day and night, with long lasting batteries. We love being able to check on our home whilst away via our mobile phones. Highly recommend if you have a good internet connection.
Excellent security system
Purchased in December 2019.Have 4 cameras set up on a rural property with the one furtherest away being 20 metres from the base....all connect seamlessly through WiFi. Excellent battery life considering a couple of the cameras record movement up to 25 times per day and are still full 2.5 months later. Excellent picture recording quality with both day and night vision. If installed as per instructions these cameras are bullet proof. Would recommend these cameras to every one .Great product
Purchased in December 2019 for A$1,030.00.
Only good if you are on wifi.
This review is also reflective of JB HIFI who basically blamed Optus and really didn’t make me feel like I could return the faulty product. I purchased this camera as it has a lot of good reviews and is considered better than the Arlo products on top of a claimed 12 month battery life and no on going subscription required for storage.
Now the problem I have is that I can not view either live or alert notified video feeds whilst away from my home wifi network. So this makes this thing as good as useless.
To rule out JB HIFI’s Optus network blaming I bought a Telstra SIM card and tried it. Same result.
So now I have to work out who I can escalate this to at JB HIFI so I can get another product or my money back.

Better than nothing, JUST !
On 22nd December 2019 I purchased the 3 camera Eufy system from J.B Hi-Fi.
Fortunately, Eufy offer a very generous return policy, so within 90 days you can return the item if it fails to perform what it is designed to do, providing it is complete and unmarked in every respect.
Let me begin with some positives which are that the cameras and all other components feel very well made (solid) and are well finished. Everything is carefully packaged to avoid transit damage. The setting up was fairly easy and in very little time I had all three cameras...
Very good security camera system
Very good security camera system. I have had the 4 camera system for about 4 months now and it works really well. The GOOD: brilliant video quality; extremely good battery life (I live on a main road and the front cameras have only used 30% battery in 4 months - on a busy street!) easy to use and lots of adjustments for each camera, easy to download recording to my iPhone and it sends alerts to my phone with in seconds, works over Wi-Fi with on-board micro sim storage so no monthly cloud fees. Overall it does a great job of monitoring my p...roperty, the tech is current and their customer service it EXCELLENT..! The NO-So GOOD: there is not much I don't like about this system except for the cameras sometimes don't record all motion depending on the temperature of the day I guess but that is only sometimes and the system asks for the memory card to be reinserted randomly when it hasn't been touched. Overall; this system is brilliant, easy to set up and use and coming from a fixed camera set up, I have never looked back I love it; highly recommend this product!!
Purchased this product. Installed this product. Product does everything stated very happy with purchase. I did install 4 cameras in 4 corners of the house and must say surprisingly range is 4/5 bars. My ring door bell has really bad range and thats with and extender. Image side of things far better than Ring product or the Arlo 2 cameras.
Easy to set up but useless range
This system is easy to set up, asnd if it worked would be excellent value for money. My issue is with the range of the wireless reception. Nowhere on the youtube videos or instructions supplied did it provide information on the wireless sending range. We had the homebase set up and mobile phone hooked up within minutes. Then we went to our closest location for our first camera install. This was around 8 metres away and through 2 besser block walls. No signal. System tells us to move closer to the homebase until we get a "great" signal. This occ...urred at around the 4 metre mark, and was next to the window of the room housing the homebase. Went up the other side of the house towards installation point 2 and the signal dropped out again around the 4 metre mark. Started looking on line for a wifi extender solution and discovered a myriad of issues relating to this exact situation. Due the low bandwidth of this system, you can't use just any extender, and EUFY have yet to produce one. Do your research carefully when considering this product. Unless you have a small house built of timber or glass it probably isn't a viable security option. Very disappointed.
Easiest Setup - and works as described
The camera system is very easy to setup and I had it all going in less than 30 mins minus the charging of units. Above this is config as it can take some time to get the camera positions, settings and notifications right but the app has great tools to aid in this.
The product overall feels very 'appleish' meaning it is all well thought out and seamless. Very happy with unit, the 365 battery life is something no one who reviews can yet comment on but based on how they estimate this it makes sense, being that if you have 30 or less notifications...
Eufy camera =AMAZING!
I am very happy with these cameras
Coming from a security background I am well aware of all the major brands
The facial recognition is second to not the AI will Automatically Zoom in on a persons face leaving you easy information to give to the police
This is a true wireless system if you plug in a cheap $59 failsafe backup power system to run your internet if a power out and the recent updates x2 which you will have to install have made this product even more capable and much faster detection
No more false alerts and you can mount eufy nearly or virtually anywhere!

Innovative, Software needs refinement
Basically the system is a wireless security camera available in a set with a dedicated HomeBase unit and 2, 3, or 4 cameras. Extra cameras should be available but not in Australia yet.
The cameras record only when they detect movement, e.g. people, within their operations range. The sensitivity of the movement detection can be varied to minimise false alarms, such as from vehicles moving in the street.
The resulting, short, video files are stored on a SD card (supplied) in the HomeBase unit. Eufy also offer a paid cloud storage option,...but I am not sure if this is available yet, as there appears to be no option in the app to set it up. Camera Installation The company promotes the ability to install the cameras without the need to drill holes in walls, etc. using a "magnetic mount". However, the functionality of the magnetic mount, which is built into the base of the actual camera, is severely less than promised, as no angle adjustment is possible. When mounting the camera directly to a metal (steel) surface, the camera position is fixed perpendicular to the surface, and the camera can't be adjusted up or down or side to side for optimum viewing angle.

What happens if a crook switches off your power? That means the base will go off and no video?
