Apple iPad Pro (1st Generation) (2015)

Had iPad Air 5 for 2 days about to take it back – Turns off randomly every 4-20 minutes nasty product batt says empty after 8 minutes of use then goes back to full can’t wait to get another Samsung tablet again stupid mistake to try Apple. Few apps are impossible to get need to be a dev expert.

The worst tablet for your home – I wouldn't recommend buying this because it is very slow and it keeps on crashing so I would recommend buying another iPad, which is much faster and is very stable.

One of my 10 worst purchase decisions ever – Despite various instructions, the only way I can use it is to leave plugged in ALL THE TIME. When ever I turn it off and plug it in, charge it 100%, unplug, 1 week later without any use the battery is completely dead. I've tried everything to turn it off, but once it is unplugged, the battery starts draining to zero. Show details

watching movies, surfing the net and instant messaging. The battery seems to last well given that it gets a lot of use. No technical problems - it hooks into wifi easily; the updates have been no problem; and it interfaces with the iPhone which is handy for transferring photos. Set up was easy, including transfer of everything from the old iPad. For someone who isn't a huge fan of Apple, I have difficulty in finding fault. The only issue is the ridiculous expense of any genuine Apple options eg it really does need a cover, but no way I would pay for the Apple version. The folks in Apple were honest when I asked why I would buy from them (there was no reason) - so saved a few dollars by going to Officeworks.

The accuracy seems to be related to app optimizations, with no parallax in the note, but a somewhat noticeable parallax in 53 Paper and Photoshop sketches (much improved after the update). Tilt stroke better than sp4, but app seems to have to look at the optimization, I feel only a few different angles, and then by the software to simulate; feeling of pressure will not exceed 512, while smooth and rounded handwriting also depends on app optimization , It is natural in the note, but in the Photoshop sketch it is clear that the line is not what I originally drew, but through obvious fixes and effects, looking at the dazzle but not the original trace.

In addition, the shortcomings are obvious 1. There is no other top-end eraser similar to SP4, and if you want to use an eraser, you have to stop and switch the tool in the software to interrupt the tempo. 2. The touch between the tip and the screen is very slippery, when writing because of too slippery, a quick write crooked, especially in writing Chinese strokes intensive block of words, write English I feel better Siamese, I use Chinese Block, too slippery uncomfortable. SP4 nib can feel friction, at the same time can change for different nibs. In addition pencil tip feel very hard, and sp4 can feel a little rebound. Overall, the touch of sp4 is closer to the feel of the paper, which is great, and the pencil is like using a ballpoint pen on a glass. The reason is that the pencil tip is smooth plastic, and SP4 nib are rubber;

However, it was noticed that the tip of the pencil could be removed, and other nibs might be introduced later. Try out the note, photoshop and several other painting applications, and found that although there are not so many complex functions on the PC, but there are optimized specifically for the pencil, a good experience, is looking forward to more App fit pencil. However, the functions of these apps are limited and do not perform well in complex tasks. For example, Adobe has more than a dozen PS-related apps, but each can only do a fraction of what's on the desktop version of PS, with slightly more complex things that need to be switched across multiple apps. Procreate painting function is not as good as the desktop Clip studio and illustrator, but lightweight enough. In short, drawing is very cool. Pen feelings, SP4 pen more notes (amateur graffiti also fully enough), iPad pro pen for painting.

repaired but can only be replaced at a cost of $880 because the screen is glued and not attached with small screws.The cost of the item was $1344 inclusive of GST.I think if an item of this nature cannot be repaired (and we are talking about a glass screen here.)this does not comply with thhe statutory warranty.Further the Apple covers available for this size of product do not have toughened corners.I add that I had both a cover and also a screen guard on the product so it is not as if I did not try to protect the product.At no time was I made aware that the product could not be repaired by Apple.I have receipt .I have looked on the net and see similar complaints -eg Guardian newspaper UK

Excellent product – This is the amazing tablet ever which can be used as a computer as well because of its Smart Keyboard facility. Apple Pencil is quite handy which helps in taking notes and drawing purposes. I bought this IPad along with Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil around May 2018. I use this almost everyday. This works like a gem due to high end processor. Gaming experience and sound quality is also great. I highly recommend to others.  Show details

Very good product in its class of tablets – Went ahead with a choice of having a Apple tablet with a pencil and it is amazing. I have been using it from last few months and the experience has been great. There have been no firmware issues as such and the OTA is great. Died in 3 years – One day my iPad Pro just died and apple tech bar said it was unable to be fixed and was out of warranty. Poor to consider it was so expensive and then just failed. Not happy at all with apple. Show details

Died after two years – I've had an Apple ipad pro for nearly 2.5 years. After 2.5 years, one day it just died. So I'm disappointed with this product and pretty much just use it as an everyday iPad for browsing and listening to music which is double the cost of a normal ipad! The applepen is gathering dust. I would sell it but prices for resale are really low and they don't retain their value. I wish I got the surface pro instead.. having just completely trashtalked it though, my friend is a tattoo artist and LOVES it so maybe it would be right for you.

Excellent – I upgraded to this one from a iPad 2nd gen. I love it....I like to do jigsaw puzzles and the larger size screen is fantastic. I can do large jigsaws and can see the pieces! Once you get used to the larger screen You could never go back to the smaller one  Show details

cellular coverage as well, as I'm often not in places where WiFi is available. It's great to be able to watch movies on a bigger screen, yet small enough to pack into my suitcase and not take up too much room. A big Devotee.

Very happy with this product – I’m very happy with my iPad because it’s user friendly, a convenient size and I can easily access any apps necessary at my finger tips. I also like the camera on it, which gives me the choice to alternate between using my iPad and iPhone when taking pics. do you really need the pro – I purchased the Ipad Pro, thinking the processing power and other features would be useful, a year on my partners standard Ipad is performing just as well and her battery life is probably better than mine. Fantastic, my mode of internet use from now on – I havent looked back since purchasing my ipad pro. It is so convenient to move around with you. Even to the little room at times. Just stunning! – I LOVE my iPad Pro! One of my favorite accessories that I cant live without.... The incredibly large screen makes it a great device to watch videos, read books and PDFs, write notes (with the excellent Apple Pencil), as well as view and zoom into photos. Couldnt be happier with this device – I could not be happier with this device! Love it to bits and use it on a daily basis. Battery is great. Love the size of the screen being as big as A4 page. It is the bees knees – The iPad really opens a new world for me. I have been able to write essays on it, do research, all my digital housekeeping, communicate between countries, start programming, shared photos, do all my banking and many more things. replace a laptop. I ended up purchasing a 2 in 1 laptop because I need to do spreadsheets and write documents that are more compatible with windows. For surfing the net and doing limited word processing, the iPad Pro is brilliant but it just won't replace a laptop and I think Apple likes it that way so we keep buying Macbooks.

Perfect Ipad! – We purchased this around a year ago and have not stopped using it each night. I use it for work purposes, playing games browsing the internet and has performed so well. got to say it is one of the best purchases I've made. The only downside is that the back is very slippery and needs a good grip case to be handled properly.

Really convenient – I'm a uni student. The iPad Pro for me is a lot better than a laptop because it's so easy to carry around without the hassle of having to worry about weight and it does its job perfectly of taking pictures and being able to type around.
